It is interesting that the volume is lower in China then in the US. First time in weeks that I have seen that.

So happy i didn't buy at 1k:thumbsup

This is why it cannot be used as a purchasing tool. As a speculative investment, yes. To buy goods and services no.

I see it as a prime opportunity to buy more...
|
It's gonna go up again eventually so yeah, it's chance to buy it :) But I'd go for LTC. Low price right now cos it's connected to BTC... but once they start buying it for USD it will go up loads :)
|
So what.....the bubble has burst, anyone surprised?:
|
You should be able to think for 10 seconds and realize why it's dropping, it will go up after xmas and only climb and I expect it'll climb fast and high.
|
It's becoming very interesting :)

I've said this several times but it bears repeating.
1 bitcoin will only ever be worth 1 bitcoin. Anyone can start a cryptocurrency and many people have, however it's usefulness will only be proven once it is simple for Joe Average to use it and most people on the planet have no idea what it is and have never heard of it, much less how to use it. Ask 10 randoms on the street if they know what Bitcoin is, I bet you'll average one in ten. |
Bloomberg surveyed a bunch of Americans and discovered that 42% could correctly identify what bitcoin is.
|
1 dollar will only ever be worth 1 dollar.

http://gawker.com/5783852/nearly-one...e-president-is I watched the Bloomberg video - but I'm highly suspect about the findings - although I do believe the people who thought Bitcoins were an iPhone app or xBox game. |
I think there is money to be made here, its all about timing

i'm highly suspect of newsweek findings. |

A bit coin has no value if it can't be used or exchanged for something else, but even if it could be used anywhere, it would still be tied to the value of the US dollar, for as long as the dollar is the almighty. |
in fact, that newsweek poll was not a randomized poll at all, it was a webpage for anyone to answer at the daily beast
