Dedicated server recommendations?

I'm thinking about migrating my site to another dedicated server host.

Currently pay $175/mo. and looking for a better deal, but I would like similar specs as what I currently have:

- 10TB Transfer (100Mbps Uplink)
- 8GB ECC DDR3 (4GB is acceptable too)
- 500GB Enterprise Grade SATA II
- 1 IP Address
- CentOS 64 Bit

Definitely need at least 500GB storage and 10TB monthly bandwidth.

Any suggestions ? Good experiences ?

I have used OVH (ovh.co.uk/dedicated_servers) and LeaseWeb (leaseweb.com/en/dedicated-servers) in the past and never had any problems with them. You get a lot of bang for your $.

I would also recommend Certified Hosting (certifiedhosting.com/managed-dedicated-servers), they are a little bit more expensive, but their support and customer care are great imo. They also have 70% off for your first month right now so you can try them out and see if you like it...

if you can manage it your self - there are many options in that range:
- leaseweb.com
- interserver.net
- gorillaservers.com
- hetzner-online.de
- ovh.us

That's where I am now actually, Certified Hosting. Paid like $180 for the first 6 months. It's all good during promo period but now it has been 6 months and I'm looking at $175/month. Just seems too high, which is why I wanted to research options. I have plenty options thanks to the responses here

I use these guys: Cyberwurx

They are very good at putting together systems that rock. I found that their mix of Linux is very stable and very lean in terms of hardware needed. It seems they have removed all of the crap and just kept the things needed to run a server. Very fast.

You can get a 4GIG for $99 if you manage it and $174 if they do. You won't need them to manage it though. They will set it up for you and then take the training wheels off. Everything is handled through their admin panel. It is pretty easy to use and works every time.

Use 10TB at checkout for the 10TB upgrade from 4TB to get what you have now for free. Also haggle with them. Request an extra 2Gigs memory. I did and I got it for free as well.

The main reasons I like them are:

* Very fast ticket times!
* They are there 24/7/365
* I never have a problem with my server!
* My server load is ultra low compared to what it used to be when I hosted elsewhere

Good luck in your search!

@vvvvv I went through every single recommendation in this thread and CyberWurx was my final decision. Easiest to talk too and they were the only ones that will work with you.

And vvvvv: In the signup there is a field to enter what site referred you and the nickname of the person that referred you, so I entered your nickname. Hopefully you get something out of that ;)
