VideosZ stole our money

Dear partners,

We?ve been working with VideosZ on cross-sales for our Per-Signup program for nearly a year and everything seemed to be running smoothly. Then our password just stopped working and the only response we got after sending you several messages was that there was some kind of fraud on our account.

We would like to point out that our traffic comes from numerous adverts(webmasters) and we have no control over it. That?s why we believe there could have been a certain number of moneybacks, not actual fraud, which is quite normal for this type of traffic. We run a few sites of our own and know this is not something unusual in this sphere of online business.

Unfortunately we didn?t receive any more responses to our written requests and were not able to withdraw the money still remaining on our partner account. We would like to use this opportunity to draw your attention to this problem and find a way to solve it to our mutual benefit.

Best regards.
Cash Maniacs Team.

Closing an account for fraud is not stealing money

Did u read what I wrote?

We didn't work with our own traffic. It just was the traffic of our affiliates.

Unless I am missing something I would say most people hold you responsible for your affiliates activity.

Also if they wanted to rip you off it seems they would leave your account open and just not pay you.

DlxClem 01-23-2014 10:36 AM

Hey,

we had a huge amount of fraud through your account and very little volume - the account was closed and the sales you got all were refunded to the customers for chargeback prevention. So we're not stealing any money ... we've been paying our webmasters/partners since we started in 1999 and we're not going anywhere.

No, you are wrong..

Mostly simply to say "fraud" and not pay with pokerface

BTW, without ANY warning! So all that time they got money from us

Exactly. How is refunding money to someone from a chargeback 'stealing' from anyone? It sounds like affiliate(s) of Cash Maniacs sent traffic that generated chargebacks and got paid by Cash Maniacs before Cash Maniacs got paid, without Cash Maniacs knowing that their affiliate(s) sales were going to chargeback.... If that is what happened, it seems that Cash Maniacs' affiliate(s) are the ones stealing, and Cash Maniacs ought to go get back any money they prepaid those affiliate(s). :2 cents:

kristin 01-23-2014 10:56 AM

Did you look into the sales of your affiliates? Were they fraud?

You claim it's not you but your affiliates, so I hope you'd shut down their account to prevent any more fraud if it is happening.

And giving the money back to the customer to prevent chargebacks is one of the more honest ways ... most companies wouldn't have done that or given you the money.

Alex Prototype 01-23-2014 11:07 AM

You all do not understand..it wasn't fraud..it was just usuall % of refunds

if videosz didn't like this..they did must say us about this..to ask to stop traffic, pay last money and that's all...stop to do bussiness together...that is correct relationship

30SalesPlus 01-23-2014 11:28 AM

They refunded the sales, so there was no money. VideosZ doesn't rip people off.

Alex Prototype 01-23-2014 11:42 AM

When I saw our stats last time (about 1,5 month ago) all sales were ok..without refunds

TonyJ 01-23-2014 11:45 AM

Always sad :(

This is your own problem. It's like saying I funded a drug ring, but I didn't sell any drugs myself...so why should I get in trouble?

Thread title would be better if it said: "Affiliates Stole Money And VideosZ Refunded Customers"

VideosZ has an absolutely impeccable reputation.

I can't speak more highly about the company, and their team. I have worked with them for years, continue to every day, and hope to will for years to come. IMO some of the best guys in the biz.

I don't know Cash Maniacs, but if VideosZ says there is fraud, then there is fraud. With my experience and the sheer volume of business I have done, and do, I'm behind VideosZ all the way. :2 cents:

Yes

Sounds fair.

Alex Prototype it sounds like one of your affiliates is up to no good. My advise would be to sort this out otherwise other programes will also close your accounts and others may refuse to let you sign up.

Alex Prototype unless I am wrong it sounds like you accept that the sales may not be 100% legit but your saying becase you did not send them but a 3rd party its not your fault. I wonder what you would sugest VideosZ does in this situation? If the roles were reversed would you carry on paying out and happy with the banks getting anoyed and thinking your business is doing somthing dodgy. Or would you close the account down? I personaly think VideosZ had no option.

My thought is if you were an affiliate of mine I would be closing your account too if I read this thread as I would not want the bank asking me why so many sales were charged back. I would think if VideosZ alowed this to carry on that there bank may have closed there account.

DVTimes 01-24-2014 12:26 AM

Also Alex, one presumes if they are cross-sales then mythought is people are signing up to your site but also (withought them knowing) signing up to other sites and when they do they get anoyed and demand a re-fund.

This is one sugestion.

Perhaps its not your affiliates that are to blame but simply that people are being tricked into signing up to sites that they did not want to.

Unless i am wrong your sites are ccbill and as such i wonder if when people sign up via cross sales do your affilites make any money from this or is it simply direct to you?

If this is the case then i am suprised ccbill do not close your account as i would have thought they would get complaints.

DVTimes 01-24-2014 12:37 AM

Alex out of interest how have you set the cross sales up?

I have looked at a few of your sites, all seem to be ccbill but on the sign up form i do not see any cross sales info.

iSpyCams 01-24-2014 06:09 AM

It's 2014, time to move on from cross sales.

anexsia 01-24-2014 07:02 AM

You're responsible for your affiliates, if they sent large amounts of fraud then it's your job to watch out for that and deal with it swiftly.
