Clips.com redirects to VideoClips.com
Clips.com now redirects to VideoClips.com Short single keyword .com domains are better as they are easier to remember and benefit from fewer typos.
Why would Clips.com which has an established brand make this change? |
his is probably not the site you are looking for!
You attempted to reach clips.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as www.videoclips.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of clips.com. You should not proceed, especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site. Proceed anyway Back to safety |
ya something is wacked i got a message that clips.com is not trusted
|
I got that message too. They're redirecting to https and didn't update the SSL certificate. I wouldn't be surprised if this warning message scared off a bunch of loyal paying customers.
Clips.com switching to VideoClips.com is like Porn.com changing to PornVideos.com, except that PR_Dave has more sense than to do something dumb like that. |
