The army have been called out to rescue people from homes all over the country - Should have let them rot.....

I would like to think that nobody would be stupid enough to go trekking up Ben Nevis during a period of the worst storms since records began...

If a member of my family was that stupid I would leave them there - No doubt.....

They went up the mountain in fucking atrocious weather and put everyone who had to go and rescue them in unnecessary danger.

But there is always someone like this who isn't paying attention to the weather and gets caught off guard.

Look at the city of Atlanta.... It's not like they didn't know the snow was coming, yet the entire state went about it's business as if it was just another day.

They set off in shit weather. It didn't creep up on them by surprise.

You can bet I'd give my loved ones an earful for it for weeks on end for being stupid and careless but to let them die? No...

Though: I get your frustration,, those people were as STUPID as someone carrying a wet cardboard box full of hammers... in a monsoon.... with only flip-flops on.

We are in the middle of the worst storms seen in the UK since god knows when, its pretty bad and its been going on for weeks - they knew that the weather would be REALLY bad before setting off.

if you look long enough, that big toe-nail starts to look like a curled up baby bird!
