I'll start.

1) I'm Myjah :) I have worked in the adult industry for 13 years. I began as a webmaster/affiliate and then took on roles as Affiliate Manager for a dating site, Product Manager for a Porn site, and Marketing VP for a softcore site...among other things, but if I write too much you won't read it. ;)

2) I come to GFY to see what's happening in the industry...the latest trends and uproars and to stay connected to people and issues that center around the online world I monetize. Also to read whatever Mike South posts because I LOVE to laugh.

3) I want and fully expect to get connected to industry people that educate and assist me in various aspects of my career. Also, I like to feel better about myself by reading the shit that gets posted here.

1) I'm Robert, in the online business now for 18 years. I started as a webmaster/affiliate -- and still am -- along the way working as an affiliate manager, sales VP for a large company, SEO consultant/manager, etc. These days I'm just enjoying life and promoting some great sites and content, helping companies with their SEO strategies via their links and placements within our established sites.

2) I drop by GFY to do a little business here and there and if something catches my attention -- especially a thread started by someone I know and respect -- I'll take the time to read.

3) I don't really want or expect anything from my time on GFY. I don't spend much time here. I prefer to spend my time getting work done and then get offline and enjoy life with my family and friends versus spending any amount of time posting on forums.

ETA: actually, it will be 19 years this April. A LOT has changed over the last 2 decades.

1. Scott McDonald. Been a webmaster for over 13 years now. Done a few different jobs during that time. Started off great. Had a dip for a couple of years. But happy with where i am now.

2. I come to GFY since i've had many great laughs over the years on here, provided good information about adult (yes you read that right) and it's a good way to keep in touch with many people. Either as friends or for business. Would love the board to go back to being as busy as it once was, but things change, people move on, and that's the way it is. Most other adult boards don't even exist anymore, which is testament to the durability of GFY. And i think it will still be here in many years to come. GFY breaks up my working day, and since i don't use Facebook or any of that shit, i'd miss it if it wasn't here.

2. I come to gfy because I read the threads in webmaster f.a.q forum and I often visit and post this section in order to get inspiration and let out some steam.
Unfortunately for me it's not easy to draw and to play webmaster - even if it's my own website - when I draw - the sells are going down, when I work on promotion - galleries, submissions into TGPs - the new coming members suffer and asking for their thing. I'm still not able to monetize my site enough to make a living from it, which leads to next point.

3. I want mydirtydrawings.com to start earning enough so I'd be able to hire other artists to help me with variety of the content - and thus to be able to get free time for myself and for other projects , and I hope I'd be able to find the solution in here.

1) My focus for the past 15 years has been in mainstream marketing. I've always been a fan of adult and decided to research the industry as a possible business expansion. I'm now dedicating about 25% of my time to building an affiliate network. My goal is to operate pay sites of my own in the near future and feed them with the traffic from my affiliate network.

1) Sam Rockhard - I've been an affiliate marketeer for over 15 years mainly having success with Amazon and Commission Junction. For 5 years I worked with Goodwill Industries going around the country setting up their online sales departments. I'm Dave. After years of getting fired from offices around my city for doing things such as drunkenly telling my boss to "die in a fire" at a company happy hour, I now work for myself doing all types of digital design. These days it's mostly Wordpress. Fucking everyone wants Wordpress.

I originally came here for insight into getting into the adult web business but I've put that on the backburner as severe ADD and smoking approximately 2 metric shit tons or marijuana a day has somehow killed my motivation. I'm honestly not sure how you all would feel about what I do in terms of adult stuff on the web. I make custom compilation videos, mostly for pornstars, and upload them to tube sites. I do not, repeat do not, do torrents or swipe full scenes, just clips so I feel like it kind of falls under fair use. I also have a blog (which I will not link to...yet) where all of my videos are indexed and I ramble about porn and how much I hate XVideos.

What do I want? I'm not sure. Some laughs. A bit of insight and maybe a few extra hits on the blog here and there.
