That cottage pie? Or was it called shepherd's pie in the UK ... either way, not a good one, it's supposed to have delicious golden brown crust on top.

Cottage Pie - Made the same way as a Shepards Pie, but using mince instead of Lamb as the filling...

The reason it doesn't have the 'Brown Top' is cause I opted to have melted cheese on it - But it WAS really nice - Both going in, and coming out :)

Despite my personal enjoyment of ' Shit Running Down The Sides ' of pretty much ANYTHING...

Its actually (Dead Seriously) a kinda brit thing, where thats kinda how they 'present' a 'home cooked meal'... Kinda makes it look like momma made it - As opposed to a fancy restaurant :)
