They do it for your own protection. Hey, I don't use them but they have been tested with time and they do seem to be going as far away from the way ePass operated for a reason. They want to have all of their ducks in a row so that they can continue to operate, function and last... even if that means inconveniencing a customer every now and then.

Just be thankful that it's not easy and that they implement strict security for their account holders, otherwise you may wake up one day and all of your money may be gone.

The only time we would request a document again is if the document you submitted has expired.

All documents must be current. If there is an error let me know [email protected]

As i said in payoneer thread,it protects issuer primarily against fraud(this is why KYC policy was invented in a first place). But it does help indirectly users as well,as if issuer takes a good measures against potential fraud, then it keep issuer still in business. If fraud is too big,it poses a danger for issuer to bankrupt, and cause a problem for legitimate users.

Mail it. Nobody is holding a gun to your head to submit anything online.

They are called anti money laundering laws

pornmasta 04-17-2014 08:23 AM

so if someone intercept the datas everyone is protected ?

JA$ON 04-17-2014 08:27 AM

we went through a TON of that. Resubmitting, more back up, resubmitting THOSE docs etc etc. It was a huge pain, but.....

Once it was done, they have been smooth as silk and truth be told, while I will NEVER keep a LARGE balance on any virtual card / account for obvious reasons, the ones that make it harder and really require solid info and don't let its users cut any corners are the ones I suspect won't just disappear or go dark (well I trust them more than one I could just sign up for with an email and my neighbors ID)

2c

Listen man. You are a whiner. A whiner that will never get your way. Sop using them and go to checks.

If you can't stand the smell, get the fuck out of the bathroom.

romeo22 04-17-2014 09:47 AM

We request Picture ID and Proof of Address for Personal account verification. Each document must be uploaded to its specific section inside your secure Paxum account for it to be counted toward it.

ie: if you submit your Passport for Picture ID, and you want your passport to be used for Proof of Address as well, then you must submit a scan/photo of your passport to BOTH the Identity Confirmation section, AND the Street Address Confirmation section. :thumbsup

Mediamix 04-17-2014 10:25 AM

That's because of your sig.. They fear you now.

Feel free to use an online money transferring service that does not require any documentation.

i have to use them if they are the only way that i can use to receive a payment from a sponsor. :2 cents:

Otherwise i wouldn't submit this kind of informations on the net.

addtionally some sponsors have really high payment charges.
Exemple: ddgcash: $42 + $20 (on the wire statement) + charge of my bank = more than $100 at the end.

EddyTheDog 04-18-2014 08:14 AM

I am annoyed they want my address ID again - I don't think they want my passport for a card renewal this time...

I assume it is because the card issuing bank do not see it as a renew - They see it as a new card - They require a valid address verification issued within the last 6 months because of the money laundering laws - When your card expires after 12 months the ID on file with Paxum is at least 6 months out of date.....

It's a complicated system and I don't blame Paxum - However, if they want me to do a selfie with my passport they can shove it where the sun don't shine...

Hey Eddy,
We're not asking for a picture ID, just a proof of address. We won't be asking you to hold the document next to your face or anything. This is standard procedure. :)

Please upload a new scan or photograph of a recent bill/statement as requested to your account - My Account >> Profile Settings >> Street Address Identification. Let me know when it's uploaded.
Thanks,
Ruth :thumbsup
