If piracy really makes your blood boil (stealing things is bad enough, but selling someone else's stuff over and over again is about as low as anyone can go) then we want to talk to you. Successful applicants will have a reliable internet connection, reasonable intelligence, some spare time each week they would like to turn into dollars, and the will to stick with something new until they get trained and get fast and can make serious dough. As mentioned above, if you already know where to find illegal content online, you're half way to successfully harvesting for us.

Porn Guardian is much more than a take-down service. We dismantle blogs and forums, we badger individual pirates and file law suits, we fingerprint files and catch pirates in the act, and we troll auction sites and online "retailers" looking for bootleg DVDs. We currently represent more than 350 individual adult brands as well as television production companies and songwriters. "We pay our harvesters by the file for all valid infringing URLs that a staff member enters into our online anti-piracy system. Some of our best harvesters earn up to $1,500.00 per month (which involves considerable time and effort on their part). It is more typical for our part time harvesters to earn between $500 and $750 per month or about half that amount. As with any commission work, the more you work and the better you get, the more money you can make. Our staff scans the Internet looking for stolen video content in Blogs, trading groups, on forums, and on tube sites. When they find a stolen file that belongs to one of our clients, they enter the URL into our system online, including some basic information about the actual title and where they found it, and then they move on - the system keeps track of the number of files they have entered automatically and it's possible to check your own statistics and watch your progress in real time.

We currently represent over 350 adult brands - many of them on the gay side of the industry producing all male content. About 80 - 90% of our clients produce gay content, but interestingly, about 80% of the content our staff reports is straight content. As part of the job, it is important that you be willing to look at all kinds of adult content, some of it extremely graphic."
