LTB Google Penalty assistance

So I will try to keep this brief. I have a site that is a little over 2 years old. For the first 1.5 years we did real well on Google with the help of a pretty well known SEO company. Me being the greedy person I am wanted to try to get a top google ranking for a very difficult keyword. They of course were more than willing to give me a guarantee for alot of money. They started doing the campaign and a month later I was penalized and have been ever since. They of course say it isn't their fault that they did nothing wrong. I should have known a company willing to give a guarantee for a top ranking difficult keyword first page ranking within 3 months was unrealistic. My past experience was good with them though so I thought it was a good decision at the time.

I didn't know much about SEO then but have learned alot since and basically they screwed me by dumping tons of links in a short time would be my guess. Course they aren't giving me my money back and are saying they will get me unbanned from google and complete the campaign once that happens. Problem is they have sent in several Disavows and reconsideration requests. It has been months and of course all Google says is nope. I don't have a clue why nor how to figure out what could possibly be wrong. Hell I don't even know enough to even know if my SEO company has even done what is needed to get it fixed or if they are just trying to screw me with the waiting game.

So if any one has expertise in this with some proof of experience and good reviews that thinks they can help with this please email me.

What is the penalty? If it is thin content = no fucking way. :winkwink:

The original penalty was for backlinks. I don't remember the exact words but something basically saying excessive or spammy backlinks. Now when they put in a reconsideration request it just basically comes back with a response that my site still violates their quality guidelines.

never pay for seo services before asking them what they plan to do (and if they want to hide it from you, after all it's your site and your money and you can go elsewhere) and tell them you need to approve every step of the procedure.

I'll need to look at your domain to assess the situation but there may be a very simple process to repair your site.

Hit me up on ICQ, I'd like to get some more information from you

I am probably the only human being ever who has never used ICQ so if you could hit me up via email I will be happy to provide whatever you need to check it out.

No problem wasn't resolved. I contacted several SEO companies that came recommended as being actually reputable rather than spam link farms. Each told me the same thing that getting Google penalties lifted is a hard thing to do and I would be better off ditching the site than putting tons of money in it with no guarantees. So basically I have just gave up and am working on bettering all of my other sites and building more sites and currently looking for a reputable yet affordable SEO company to help with those. Seems like reputable and affordable don't go hand in hand in SEO though but I am still trying. It really sucks though because how exactly does some one who is not an SEO expert know what services are good? I mean on these forums alone I see tons of link offers all the time but have no clue which one to get or avoid, lol. :)

You are correct. In most cases just ditch the site and move on.
