Maybe I am too old but some reactions are really funny :1orglaugh |
Posted like a month ago.

Haha that is so cute. The boy actually typed "games" and another one "internet". Syntax Error!

HALT AND CATCH FIRE: Good show...so far!

My first computer was a commodore 64 and I loved the games on it :D
|
You want old?
Here is a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 1, running Sub-Logic Flight Simulator (which was sold to Microsoft soon after) |
When I worked at a commercial photo lab in the 1980's we used trash 80's with 8 inch floppy drives. It was a totally modern lab. Compared to today it feels like we painted images on cave walls.

C64 version (music included and cool): Apple II version: Sinclair ZX Spectrum version: MSX (1987, converted a little later): Following the 16bit versions: MS-DOS PC 286 EGA version: Amiga version (the best 3d graphics of the time - except perhaps Atari ST): By the way a new versione of Elite ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elite:_Dangerous ) is in beta now: That's multiplayer: At some time this 2014 version it will look so old too. |

I really like this old time music and sounds :thumbsup Also the new trailer looks quite interesting. |
yep, elite was an absolute killer
when i picked up Freelancer for PC several years after i instantly became a fan because it was so close to that amazing game i once played on ZX now all elite fans probably playing Eve... never tried i yet, heard a lot of quite different opinions about it... |
Not even old and yet as limited as a C64.
Love the ending :1orglaugh |
God I feel old
|
cool video. old computers look pretty crappy today but we had a lot of fun with them at the time. boulder dash , impossible mission, summer games and donkey kong were my fav games, and sitting for 6 hours typing in a dos program to play a very simple bat and ball game. fun fun fun..., whats the internet? we started with bulletin boards in 1984 with a 1200 baud modem.
|
Wow... I guess I'm not old enough to remember these. I remember playing a side-scrolling Duke Nukem game off a floppy though. Then Doom & Wolfenstein took over my life. :D
The Fine Bros. do awesome vids with these kids, aside from that annoying intro. |
That butthole GIF oh god
