Penalty was not only very correct... Brasilian player should have clearly got the red card instead of yellow. The rules are very clear on this... With 10 against 11 it would have been 7-1:1orglaugh

I agree for red card, but disagree with penalty. It was outside the box.

Wrong... He is still pulling the shirt inside the box. It's not where violation starts it's where it ends. If player had let go of shirt outside the box and he only went down inside the box then it was no penalty but a free kick outside the box. If he kept on pulling inside the box and they walked out the box still pulling and he went down outside then it's no penalty because it ended outside.:)

My father was a referee for 30 years and is now training and judging referees for the KNVB.:)

Anyway... luck and referees of course are a factor in matches, but... OP stated more then once that Dutch team would not even make it through first round and can only win by referee-luck... which of course is total bullshit.... that i was trying to say....:)

Come on, no penalty given to BR and the offside goal... but still the Dutch cry babies were quite happy for the win , even though the coach said before the game, that it did not matter, bla bla bla ... I've never met a Dutch who's not a cry baby and it seems that Holland team excels here...

I'm very happy for Germany they took the game seriously and won the World Cup as they deserved...

Hey, I wasn't 100% serious, of course, they play well and always did, but for some strange reason they fly past the group stage with lots of wins but in the next stages they seem to stumble and need some referee help :)
