I agree with you. We join a porn site to see its content/product. "Content is everything".
However I think it would be a mistake to think that UX-design principles that apply to mainstream, does not apply in adult industry. Lot of porn sites could substantially increase their ratio if they changed their layout.

Yes of course, site layout does matter, or at least it shouldn't be so crappy and hard to use either visually or functionally, that it gets in the way for the join.

But before "beautiful" I would place "creates trust", although they don't exclude each other or are contradictory.

One thing popped into my mind. The pics in your FHG and content packs are ridiculous huge. There is no need for that huge pics, as there is no added value for that big pics. Normal pic set size is something 4-6 MB for 18-24 pics, but your galleries are mostly 20-30 MB for 16 pics. I can't use those without resizing (more work for me).

And I almost forgot that the same issue is also with the banners and such. Had to do some serious browsing just to find small enough banner, I mean MB wise.
