Just Got Out Of Jail For Income Tax Evasion!
Damn guys... I just did 2 years in federal prison for tax evasion... in 2006-2010 I was making about 1M every year as an affiliate in the exposed celeb niche and well I cut the IRS short on my payments to them, not that I didn't pay them anything, I paid a lot... I just skimmed off the top a bit. Thinking ah no biggie if anything they will just ask for the back pay and maybe a fine... shiat... they came at me like I was a damn mobster, raided my house in a private gated community at gunpoint took all my shit and threw my ass in jail. I still can't believe how hard the IRS/FEDS came at me. The judge gave me the same treatment... treated me like a POS, I have no record at all and he gave me the maximum on my guidelines saying that I was scum for the business I was in and a crook for cheating the good people of the United States by not paying all my taxes due bla bla bla.
Anyways, it has been a ruff last few years and I am ready to get back at it again... I was curious if anyone knew of any exposed celeb sites that are paying on time and converting well with targeted traffic? I tried Gossip kings for a second but went like 0:2000 and that aint going to cut it... I am used to like 1:150 on my sites. Now I know it has changed a bit since 2010 but could it be that bad? One of my sites gets about 20M Google term searches a month but I need to get the site back in a good spot in the serps as being gone for so long hurt my rankings... hell I was not even indexed in Bing/Yahoo because of a .htaccess error lol Damn, hope I can do this shit again. :Oh crap |
Were u incorporated during those years or u just earn it personally and didn't want to pay those taxes? I am in Canada and my inc only pay around 15% after all those expense deduct, its reasonable. If u were making 1m a year, and didnt inc then its really hard to hide anything from the tax men.
|
Like incorporating shields you from the IRS. :1orglaugh
|
I was set up as an LLC. I knew I was shorting them, just had no idea they would come at me so hard. I paid like 20% every year but shorted them the other 15%. I should of had a finacial advisor and good accountant but did it all on my own. Lesson learned on that one. lol
|
You are outright admitting that you actively shorted them. That's what screwed you. That's why it wasn't a penalty and a payback. You purposely shorted them.
|
Oh don't get me wrong when they came at me I played dumb. Like oh shit my bad let me cut you a check. But they didn't want that they wanted the indictment. I paid like 500k cash to them towards the amount owed and they indicted me a week later. The Fed is ruthless.

No... the bank Bank of America flagged and reported me due to the high amount of wires to my accounts. I guess I was under investigation for 2 years before the raid. I should have known something was up when Bank of America closed all my accounts with no reason. When you make that kind of money though you think you are a king and fuck em. DOH!

It sounds like you were able to keep all your sites, which is a huge advantage to rebuilding your network of sites. You're lucky the feds didn't confiscate them and sell them off to the highest bidder. Good luck! |
yep when you don't hand the government your hard earned cash it's all out war for them. Funny how that's the most horrible thing you can do to those fucks. We're all fucking cattle being milked dry.

Big banks steal billions and get fined, nobody goes to prison. You short the IRS a few hundered K and get 2 years of prison. Funny how that works. Good luck in your return :thumbsup

welcome back

if you dont pay taxes at all, you will be less screwed then if you skim it. Same can applied to many other things, for example if you drive a car and you dont have driving license at all,you will pay less penalty then driving a car with having driving license but dont having a document(driver license document). |
Welcome back..

Damn. That totally sucks man.
Did you ignore warnings from them or something? Surprising they would just raid you out of the blue like that. Hopefully you put a few of those millions elsewhere overseas, in hard to get to accounts. |

I ask because I did time twice in a Fed camp in Pensacola for pretty much the same shit but not really. They are so unfair when it comes to that.
They came in guns blazing as if I had bin laden hiding in the house. All because I had a ton of money coming in and they wanted to know who what where when and why. It was a mess because after I proved one thing it was something else. Then another and another. They would not stop until I just accepted guilt for doing something wrong even though they could never figure out what. No I was not perfect but it was not worth it to keep fighting with them so they could make something small in to something and I lose it all. It got to the point where I could have picked what I wanted to go to jail for or so it seemed that way. My lawyer went over all my options and we got everything I wanted. Still have to plea guilty and do a little time in a camp which was a joke if you ask me. More laws broken there then I have ever seen. My crew and I along with our bosses who were paid to work with us were raided by the ATF while in prison LOL. Some people got more time while in prison then they were given from the judge in the first place. |
The IRS raided my mates home in Ohio a few years ago. Ripped the place to shreds as if he was a terrorist hiding anthrax. He had everything in order and in the end they could not get him on a single charge in regards to taxes. Apologies? Nope.
Freedom. Fuck yea! |
Hey celebiz, send me an e-mail if you need any help :)

Interesting story. Glad you are out. Wish you luck on getting back to making money.
Story about how much reddit made from the hacked celeb pics. Not selling the content, just people buying each other gold. http://www.wired.com/2014/09/celeb-pics-reddit-gold/ |

Got 2 years for a tax evasion? That's a very serious punishment for a self employed person IMHO. In my country you would be just fined for that in cause if you were caught for a first time. Also the law here can not be enforced, if the tax evasion crime was committed more than 3 years ago (a statute of limitations).

2) Khodorkovsky was charged for many crimes including contract killing. So here are two hints for you: 1) Don't kill people and you won't share the Khodorkovsky's fate. 2) Stop posting bullshit to this board. |
