Programmer available for projects - PHP/JS/AJAX/HTML/CSS

Details:

PHP/JS/AJAX/HTML/CSS

Rate: $45/hour

I'm available for projects or ongoing work. I've got 10 years webmaster experience, mainly in adult, and around 4 years of programming experience.

I've worked for small one person businesses and multi million dollar sales large corporations. Most of my work is actually on mainstream sites but I'm very familiar with the adult space so that isn't an issue.

I've got over 3000 hours of billed time in the past two years for clients so I'm not a part time inexperienced programmer.

I can provide references and/or sites I've worked on by request.

You can contact me via email at [email protected] as well.

Bumping this thread.

Lowering my rate to $40/hr to hopefully fill my time for the next two months before I head off to Montreal for a vacation.

It is not about the hourly rate. I have a director who can shoot a scene in 3 hours because he knows his shit and I know others who can spent 30 hours because they know their shit, but are trying to be artists.

Hourly base is useless for most of us, but answers to questions ( with an overall estimate of costs and time) for:

1) Building a whole e commerce web site.
2) making it SEO ready

Etc... etc..

Is the way to go.

I'm certainly fine with quoting on a per project basis, and probably 80% of the work I do is on a per project basis. Only after I've established myself with a client and they want ongoing work do we typically switch things to hourly so things stay streamlined. I think it's important to show what your hourly rate is to give people an indication of what you charge.

Along with giving people a write up of what I think is involved on a project I also give time estimates and deadlines.
