So thinking about Ebola, there is another problem

And now, The deadly enterovirus D68 that is rapidly spreading across the county was first identified in cities with large numbers of relocated illegal immigrant children.

Here's a report from the CDC on the enterovirus
http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm6336a4.htm

This shows where the enterovirus came from, same place as all those children that crossed the border without being checked.
http://www.virologyj.com/content/10/1/305

For those that think this is no big deal, there is no treatment or vaccine for this and it's attacking the children.

Ok, Learner took the fifth and quit over the IRS scandal
Shinseki quit or was fired over the VA scandal
Sebelius was fired or quit over Obamacare
Holder is still in contempt over fast and furious and quitting
No one trust what the NSA says.
Who is Obama going to fire over this and then blame the republicans for?

Looks like the Right needs a new scare tactic. Obamacare wasn't the flop they claimed it would be, the economy is doing better and unemployment is at pre-Bush levels..

Looks like it's Ebola..

Thanks Obama..

I blame ALL Americans... All they seem to do anymore is sit on the internet bitching about everything instead of actually doing anything about it. :thumbsup

crockett 10-11-2014 09:44 PM

Perhaps if the Republicans, while they held the Senate, House and Oval office for 6 years of Bush's presidency had thought about boarder security then.. Maybe we wouldn't have so many illegals..

Oh wait, that would mean actually "DOING" something rather than standing around bitching and complaining all the time. We all know the GOP doesn't actually do anything, because it's much easier to wait till the next guy is in office and bitch, moan, whine and complain.. Less risk that way and gives something for their sheep to flock to.

Seriously, what kind of bullshit are you pushing now? Yes, it's illegal immigrant children causing this.

Oh my god. You are so funny.

The Republicans are gearing up to complain about Isis or Isil or whatever they are called this week. They won't do this until after the midterm elections, and once after that they'll get loud about it and try to blame it all on Obama.

What bullshit.

It's a constant no win situation. If the President went into Syria guns blazing the Republican party would have been up in arms, and if we didn't go in they would be up in arms. Pretty much no matter what decision is made the Republicans will go the other route and scream bloody murder. The best part is the Republican party comes up on the wrong side every time... Obamacare isn't horrible or evil, and more people than ever now have healthcare. The economy is doing fine, and by the way, what ever happened to that lawsuit the Republicans were going to file?

Seriously, the Republican party has become a group of little children. "Oh, he wasn't born in the US". How childish is that?

Doh - POROUS BORDERS

2MuchMark 10-11-2014 11:00 PM

According to the CDC,

http://www.cdc.gov/non-polio-enterov...ut/ev-d68.html

EV-D68 has been around a while. "Small numbers of EV-D68 have been reported regularly to CDC since 1987."

So ... blame immigrants? Nope.

stickyfingerz 10-12-2014 05:13 AM

Sars... swine flu, bird flu... do people forget all these supposed threats that were going to wipe us out? Rofl..... Then for the "border issue" they put up scabies .... scabies..... really? rofl.... Oh no.. the scabies... Had a neighbors son sleeping on his parents couch years ago. We visited and lucky for us... we got them including my daughter. Yes it was a pain to get rid of them.... but to use "SCABIES" as an excuse to close the borders is fucking retarded. Like the stupidest of the stupid would buy that bullshit.

Ebola? Oh yes I'm scared... I'm also scared I might win the powerball lottery three times in a row too..... :1orglaugh:error

Infectious disease is a world wide problem.

Fixing blame is a total wasted effort. Eliminating the causes and sources of disease is a first line defense -- prevention. Finding cures for disease is mitigation and a human responsibility.

Reactionary positions and statements only hamper legitimate disease control efforts and their effects. The lessons of the Bubonic Plague need to be given application here ...

The only way they can get their sheep to keep voting with the herd mentality, is if they constally have something to be scared about. It's just like when Bush was in office and everytime he was doing bad in the polls they had a "terrorist threat level" rise on his little smokey the bear fire chart.

Notice since Obama has been in office we have all survived with out the terrorist threat chart being flung in our face every other week. Notice the country didn't fall apart and no ones guns were taken away. Obamacare didn't end the world and you don't have to wait 6 months for a doctors appointment as they claimed. No death panels ect..ect..

It's just the same stupid scare tactics over and the mindless sheep like Vendzillia fall for it everytime. They are herded like sheep right to voting booth.

I've noticed that the mainstream press does this too, although they do not only focus on politics. CNN right now is obviously focused on ISIL. I understand about the news cycle and how they need to fill up air time, but there is plenty of enough news without harping on item for too long. The missing plane was a month long thing for CNN.

It's why I don't watch news on TV anymore. They are just selling advertising not presenting the news.

Example I usually go to McDonnalds everyday and buy one of their sweat teas. They always have either Fox or CNN on depending which one I go to. Usually the one I go to has CNN on and everyday for the last month it's something about IS or Ebola..

However one day last week I had to laugh my ass off because they managed to get Ebola and IS in the same report.. Was a flashy headline called "Ebola the The ISS of bio threats".

It's just a joke, none of them even try anymore, it's just about keeping people glued to the TV to sells ads. The easiest way to do that is to scare them and use shock jock radio tactics.

So letting people in the country without going thru a health screening is smart, they have been doing that on Ellis island for a long time, guess the Obamanation has no time for doing things the smart way. Well at least we'll have Obamacare for treating all the new illness in the country.

You guys just don't care about the children that are getting hurt because of this, I get it!

this is the not the first outbreak of D69. there have been outbreaks since the 60's. for most kids, its just like a cold but some, especially those with compromised immune systems or breathing problems, it can be very dangerous. its here in canada too but we don't have many mexicans.

It attacks children in a bad way, it's not good.

The countries where it's really bad are the same countries that all those immigrant children came from that were crossing the border in mass numbers.

Obama sets the policy on what to do with those children, it was in the news, he wasn't going to send them back.

Why where they not screened for this illness? They screen for illness and quarantine people when they come into this country legally!

So for the peanut gallery who has it's head up Obama's ass, who is to blame for all the children that came across the border with this illness that didn't get screened? Who's responsibility is it to look after the security of this country if not that of the Obama Administration?

You're funny, every time the president is brought up, you bitch about republicans vs democrats. Why when the president is suppose to be the leader of the country. I guess you just can't admit he's only the leader of the democratic party, that way he can blame the republicans and Bush for all his fuck ups.

When's the last time you heard me blame any thing on the democrats?

Let's be clear, I want Hillary to run for president. See, you are an idiot that still thinks I'm republican, I'm a registered libertarian. I do think that this fall, we will have republican rule in congress and that a democratic president will be better, as when Bill was in office.

Argue with that idiot!

Where did I say that?

If a country is having a major problem with an illness, isn't is prudent to screen those travelers for that illness?
