The South Korean fan one is good. They have timers on their fans because they believe that if you leave them on for too long you'll freeze to death. Fans do not chill the air, they simply move it.

Here in Korea my in laws worry that the fan takes all the oxygen. IT happened because many Korean homes are sealed air tight. The doors are air tight.
Sometimes they sleep 6-8 people in a small room. So I think they used up all the air. Then blamed it on the fan.

So who created the "yes i am a cop" myth and why it is being used so widely? I mean movies try to stick to real laws when making cop films... how did this one slip?
