Holiday pirates, where do you hunt for cheap long haul flights?
What are the best sites to catch specials on those? Like EU-India 220 eur return, EU-Thailand 300 Eur return etc. Those are the prices people catch. Is there a good site, twitter, fb feed etc you could recommend where you can follow and grab those deals once they emerge?
|
SkyScanner.net - Best for Euro deals...
Edit: From the drop down for 'date' select the whole month or even year - If you want those deals you can not be fussy about dates..... |

I vote skyscanner. It's never let me down. Sometimes you can find some charter seats on redflagdeals.

I will check this out !:thumbsup

anyone have a site for asian deals?
|
By the way as for skyscanner, I obviously know this site (pretty popular to say the least), but do they update deals live? I know that some airlines announce specials, but those are not being included in skyscanner's price list somehow.
So I was expecting maybe there is some feed where you could get notified once any airline has some special sale. |

For example - http://i.imgur.com/P4RCELN.png Click the '4h ago' and it will update it to live..... I don't know of a feed that would help - Getting the real bargains takes a little work - 25 years ago when I first got the travel bug it was hours+++ on the phone to get a bargain... |
Had enver heard of skyscanner.net before, that is a brilliant site, fares are so damn cheap! Thanks

I use momondo.com to check prices.
Same principle as the other similar sites but I like that you can easily see the effect changing dates has on the fares. |
