Possibly because it's the right thing to do. If you found a cure for some life threatening ailment/disease/virus/bug etc would you deny other sufferers vital info on how to cure it!

you realize they could make even more money if they actually developed a cure right? even a partial one. who wouldn't buy that? People would take it for prevention even. But these things are normally bullshit and people die believing it.

Which is why canna cures are not researched, they do not want to cure you they want to profit from humanities pain and suffering.

I do understand the concept perfectly. Yet it is interesting to try to imagine someone suddenly discovered that, for example, a 20 cents worth carrot can cure all types of cancer...

To be fair if you limit the supply of something you can increase the price if you have the demand.

Or if there is a demand for a drug i.e. cancer drugs you can charge what you like regardless of the fact that it costs very little to manufacture said drug.

Recently in the UK the NHS has threatened to stop buying expensive cancer drugs unless the companies lower the prices.

Now does Cannabis oil have the potential to cure cancer? I have absolutely no idea, probably not enough independant research has been carried out but never underestimate the power of the Placebo effect
