Who cares? How is the city going to enforce it, and where will the money to do that come from?

A lot of production is already keeping a low profile (permits pulled are way down), and if enforcement somehow, some way, starts then companies will either leave LA or go completely underground (just like in the Golden Age of Porn).

This case really doesnt matter. Even if Vivid had won, there is still Cal Code of Regs section 5193 that would not have been affected by this ruling.

CCR 5193 is the CalOSHA reg for condoms and other bodily fluid barriers. This really wasnt about condoms in porn it was more just about Measure B. AHF wasted money getting Measure B passed and Vivid wasted money challenging it.

Exactly. No one in LA wants to enforce condoms in porn. Only CalOSHA has and even their interest is waning.

Not much has changed. Prior to this people where already producing in SF, Miami, Vegas and Phoenix.

No one I know has moved out of LA county because of Measure B. There's really no reason to run from a law that isnt being enforced.

yup really i dont see the decision there and at the time I posted even the article wasnt there. Theres is a LOT of info in the decision for those that wish to read it and are egally proficient to interpret it.
