How many NCAA Bowls do we need? A Bitcoin Bowl ?
 

It used to be special to watch any bowl game but now we have fucking Bitcoin Bowls and some Louisiana Southwest Tech with record 2-13 in it. :helpme

Im exaggerating but its getting ridiculous. Louisiana-Lafayette, South Alabama, UTEP? WTF?

Bitcoin bowl started at 2008, so "it used to be" long time ago? :)

ps: you should have winning record in order to be eligible.

Actually, teams only need a 6 regular season wins to be bowl eligible...and a conference championship game loss does not count on the record, so theoretically, a 6-7 team can play in a bowl...which is exactly what happened this year when Fresno State University played in the Hawaii Bowl with a 6-7 record.

Yeah, I got that "winning record" from some wiki article. Maybe not updated yet. Change it to "not losing record" :)
Not much of the change though, only 1 win difference. So no 2-13 teams anyway (I know he was exaggerating) :)

The thing is do we really need to have "Hanes left sock Bowl" on TV?

There have always been a lot of bowl games, get over it.
The schools need $$$, it's all about $$$...if you don't wanna watch...check out CNN & look at missing airplanes coverage.

I've always felt there should be a Toilet Bowl for the two worst teams in the nation.

I always felth that the Yoshinoya "Beef Bowl" fast food chain should sponsor their own college bowl game. People in Southern California should know what Beef Bowl is. Instant name recognition.

I think it should be for ranked teams only. Seriously, Central Michigan and South Alabama?

So how many bowl games these years compared to 5 or 10 years ago?
And what is the point of it? Looks like some extra exhibition game after the season. Why not more then? Why only X number of bowl games, why not 3X or why not let every team play extra bowl game? Fans would appreciate :)

Watching any bowl game was once special? The only time it was special was watching the bowl game that will decide who the national champion will be.

Bowl games produce money.
