YES you're black, BIG FUCKING DEAL. If we can accept it and live with you, why can't you accept it just be who the fuck you are. No one really cares other than her apparently. The "black" people that leave a bad taste in the worlds mouth are probably the same exact black people SHE wouldn't like either. Not because they are black but because they are PEOPLE who act like idiots. I think if you talked to her roommates they probably would have no idea this nonsense was going on in her head since they're probably NOT thinking - oh gosh, a black woman lives with us, she has a fro, she's going to get oil on the sofa. No man, it's not even a little bit like that. :2 cents: |
Sounds like every other female on the planet, complicating shit that isn't even there to begin with, and letting the resulting emotions she has created inside her own head take on some 'real' form.
needs to stfu and get back in the kitchen :2 cents: |
like the blacks here, she makes everything about race, demands those around her do also and gets butthurt when they don't. I could go on, race baiting, reparations, she's got it all and calls it black rage.
ahahahahahaha |

the author is making herself sick by suppressing herself, thinking people who dont share her worldview are ignorant. hopefully as she gets older she will come to understand she is responsible for how she reacts to the information she consumes.
One can view the ferguson situation from a perspective that brown was a victim of his color. One can just as reasonably view brown as being a criminal who would be alive had he studied science instead of robbing people. why do people think that only their eyes & their worldview is the only right answer? what a racist i am for pointing this out. :2 cents: |
Wait a minute. I just noticed that GFY Troll of the year award recipient haven't posted in two days. Whats going on here?

"I?m a girl with a fro, raised in the place once known as ?Chocolate City.? I grew up part of a black nuclear family, was home-schooled, then became part of of the mini-Historic Black College Experience at Temple University. After arriving in New York, I became an intern at Essence, a magazine so safe I likened my boss to an aunt. Those settings were as comfortable as my grandma?s cooking on any given Sunday.
I longed to crawl back to my tiny black universe." Some of the most maladjested, insecure & unadaptable people you will ever meet are homeschooled. As you can see from above, her issues stem from the self segregation her parents imposed on her from birth. She's having to re-indentify who she is in a multi racial, multi-cultural surrounding. Good read, that is some heavy shit! Good luck to her. |

WOW seems like a lot of folks think like her, it's sad in todays times that race has to be about anything. But it's true ton's and ton's of folks use race. Awe never mind just wasting my time. No one cares what I or you or anyone of us think. lol

We hired a sales person at my gym once. The moment i heard her speak, i thought "wow, this woman is really articulate and well spoken". She had this really interesting way of speaking, almost like a stage actor delivering a monologue where you just wanted to hear each word she had to say. She had this fascinating way of engaging with and connecting to the person she was speaking to. It was unusual in the fitness industry, where you're usually dealing with a lot of unintelligent and difficult personalities. She is black. She was super smart, well spoken, had a big genuine smile and you just felt comfortable with her the moment she started to speak. She had done gym sales. She knew the pitches, the objections, how to overcome them, how to close etc... and how to do phone sales and get people in the door and she was perfect.
One day we are driving together and we were talking about someone,... I think it was someone at her old job who was higher up that she overheard saying when speaking about her like "She's really articulate". She started telling me how offended and hurt she was, saying things like "can you believe that? As if a black woman can't be articulate". At that moment, I just felt bad for her. I realized that she had managed to take something as simple as someone noticing her best and most attractive traits as a person, and twisting it into some sort of cruel insult, based on race. I sat silently pondering what her day must be like and imagined myself doing the same thing in my everyday interactions and it just felt so miserable. It is a truly sad way to go through life. Who really gives a fuck what a completely (and admittedly) emotionally unhinged black girl suffering through an identity crisis among other things, in the article thinks about how the world see's her, her world, her background, her race and so on? Notice, she didn't have the same concern for others. She isn't depressed and concerned about her not understanding Chinese or Jewish or Arab or Indian cultures. As is the biggest problem today in that segment of the black community, she thinks the world owes her something. That she's special. That everyone needs to notice her and the things she cares about. She's mostly upset at realizing and understanding that the world owes her nothing. |

oh, and that silly bitch is nothing more than just another black racist.
"These non-indictments reiterated what I’m up against every single day: the unintentional ignorance of white people." :I pocket my black rage, and swap "hey girl" for hello. " "I pretend to care about Taylor Swift, or white movie stars on their I’ve-lost-count remarriages and those other white pop stars I could not care less about. " she's the problem, not the solution. |
Hey black people: I'M tired of suppressing MYSELF to get along with black people.
When i go to a movie theater I have to suppress my rage at all the talking to the screen. I have to suppress myself NOT to shout out "SHUT THE FUCK UP BLACK PEOPLE!" (cause it sure as hell ain't white people whoopin' and hollerin'.) I have to suppress myself when I am walking down the street and a black person in a car jammed with 52 bass speakers passes by, BLASTING the bass-heavy beats and making my teeth rattle. Do I say "TURN THAT HORRIBLE SHIT DOWN!!"? No I do not. I suppress myself. Why? Because maybe that black person will take out a gun and pop a cap in my ass. BLACK people have to 'suppress' themselves to 'get along' with white people? It's the other way around if y'all ask me. Just sayin'. |

All i could think was "how can it be so hard to understand in Hollywood that numbers are slipping because clearly society is slipping and the movie going experience becomes more irritating and miserable AND expensive every year" I live in a city with millions and I only have a few theaters that i go to in very nice areas of town. Anywhere else just guarantees a horrible experience. |

However, having said that, I live in New York City. I go to theaters in all differant neighborhoods (based on convenience) and there IS a differance between a movie theater in Washington Heights and a theater in East Harlem and a theater in SoHo. It could be argued that the differances are purely economical and not racial/ethnic/cultural per se. But there IS a differance in how audiences act in differant neighborhoods. Sad thing is, the trend seems to be going the way you are saying, NOT in the direction of more politeness, etc. I think that is a reflection of the times more than anything else. People are so used to being in their own little bubble - whether that be a smart phone, the Internet, Twitter, iPods, whatever - that they don't know how to act in "public". You know, where other people are around you. It all started 15-20 years ago with cell phones and people thinking they were having a private conversation - on the bus. LOL And it's getting worse. :( |

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh To me that graphic was "hands to the face, oh no you don't like me" lol I was talking about her songwriting abilities, her dedication to evolving as an artist, and business acumen. I personally don't like her style. I find her public persona irritating as fuck, but she has stood out and made a name for herself through her talent. Redeeming :thumbsup |

He was also a major pussy hound, even after he married his second wife Donna Camille (pictured below). He worked everything he had to his advantage. Excellent example of working what you got despite circumstances. He died living in North Hollywood with a longtime girlfriend living with him. He made good money after fantasy island, on many projects. He was a painter and photographer as well as actor. His suicide was because of long term pain do to health issues the last few years of his life (stated in his suicide note). He was 50 when he committed suicide. |
Another "it is racist because one party was black and other party was white" morons:
"how racist these non-indictments were to my parents, and to my socially conscious white and black friends." Idiot. |

Another reason things are different in Soho is because the theaters in Soho or the West Village tend to have a different selection of movies than do the big chain theaters located throughout the city. |

How can she have black rage if she grew up in this warm fuzzy black place? Does she think all black people eat fried chicken and sing loud when others are trying to do their thing?
Not sure it wasn't weak satire. |
