How to get traffic the things that aren't obvious?
 

So I have read in many threads

I get that I need those here are the questions I have
For social media we are using twitter and tumblr (tumblr just starting to get regular with it) But what is the proper way to use Social media? What do I need to do to get a huge fan base and try to convert the small percentage to actual paying customers?

What have you done and can you teach me?

Back links so blogs I get that do I need to create my own blog? Problem is I would need to get traffic to my blog before I get traffic to my site...what are some sites I can get my links on to back link in?

Affiliates we have a few but even then those sites seem to get less traffic than we do. How can I get in with a company or site that has 500k-1mil a day unique users hitting it to see my links, banners, hosted galleries? I need to know where to find the right affiliates to make money with not just have some guy who made a site affiliate who gets less traffic than I already do.

In general, this is not easy, but there is a lot of things, that you can do.

Google.com / search engines are the biggest and the best source of traffic, so you need to make sure that your seo part is good (on-site, link building, social media). Everybody repeats it everywhere, but in the end it is true. When you actually sign up to something like Majestic.com or SemRush.com, and start getting good links and in a correct way, your traffic grows. This is probably one of the most efficient ways to do it, not necessarily the easiest one.

The biggest social media websites are:

Facebook - create page or pages there, promote it in Facebook groups, there is some other things to do it too. Bring people from your websites to the Facebook pages / page.
Twitter - this is good for adult. Get relevant followers, keep adding regular posts (pictures should work good there), add url to your site.
vk.com - similar to Facebook
Tumblr - it is ok, have a blog there, but dont overdo it. I am not sure, you may get a lot of followers too. Be aware of the fact, that they can delete your blog / blogs for no reason, at any time. They deleted 200 of my blogs (all different email addresses) for no good reason. A better way to go is something like DirtySexBlog.com - adult blog hosting.
Pinterest.com - you can promote your websites there
Sex.com - similar to Pinterest, but adult, works good
Reddit - create real account, add good links with good descriptions, which are placed on good sites. Comment on other submissions, vote it up and down, make it look natural, just like with anything that has to do with Google.com.
Google+ - not good for adult, you cant link to anything that even resembles an xxx site.

I am not sure what else is there, I may have omitted something. Twitter number one, Facebook / VK after that. Tumblr can generate good traffic, but they can delete your blogs anytime (back up your blogs).

You can buy traffic to your websites from places like TrafficShop.com, TrafficHolder.com, and AvaTraffic.com. This is something that is very good, and it works. At the very least you should be able to get good amount of paid visitors, and break even with income from ads placed on your site. This could be from any of the xxx networks, like Exoclick.com, Plugrush.com, Ero-Advertising, or JuicyAds.com. Ero-Advertising is another good website for paid advertising of your websites too. Advertising is a big part of most businesses, and this is something that you need to learn with this too.

Affiliate program is good, work on getting more affiliates (add your program to Signbucks.com, for example). It is free marketing, you only pay, if you make a sale.

When you work on other websites, which are meant to promote your main sites, make sure to have a mobile version, and work with programs like BitterStrawberry.com, and SexGoesMobile.com for max income from these sites.

One more thing related to this. You can check your competition, see what they do to get visitors too their sites. Compete.com, SimilarWeb.com are the best for this. You can check what other people do on social media too (ie. search for "pornhub.com" domain name on Reddit.com, for example, check Facebook pages of whoever you would be interested in). You can reverse-engineer seo too. All this is not easy at all. You have people doing it 15+ years, some people have a lot of money to invest, and so on.

All this is more long-term also. You work on these 4 domains every day / all day for 2 or 3 years, and then you start seeing the results. Maybe not really that long (this depends on your knowledge), but this is, in general, how this works. Seo too, you wont see the results overnight. You may do something that works, but then you will get your websites penalized.

The one I forgot about is StumbleUpon. I've heard from some people, that it is good, as far as amount of people coming in.

If you have a blog you can auto-post to social media.
