He prefers to play "global" rates. Which is why he's always here chasing someone down, I would imagine. Who wants to work for peanuts or "equity share"? :1orglaugh

From my experience working with him, he does indeed look for the cheapest prices around, but when i explained him why this costs this and why it does this and that and so on and so forth, he had no problems in paying what i quoted him.

As always, if one has the patience to talk to the client and explain the situation a to z, most of the times, the client comes through and understands.

Just adding my two cents here :2 cents:

x12media 02-12-2015 07:02 AM

Vlads. I agree 100%. Communication is key.

Looks like someone is still butthurt over being an idiot.

If he doesn't get what he wants, he will simply copy and paste e mails and who knows into public view. Talk about non professional.

Vlad is 100% correct. I will agree I am a cheap bastard, but I never EVER not pay work that has been done.

that website, among other things is not able to get to the nit and gritty part of things.

I have been developing apps (system, desktop, mobile, etc) for a long ass time, and I can tell you that somethings that seem simple take butt ass amount of time, and somethings that you would think are difficult get done in no time.

with that website tool, I mean, most developers can create login front/back end and user management in about 10 min with Parse, but if the client has specific reqs that do not allow it to use a system like that, then you must custom build (which of course is more expense)

For coders (developers) time is money as well as the IP put into play when developing new modules etc. (some developers just re use, or barrow from others, or whatever) from others and create an app from that too.

If you are looking to get something developed, the developer should be able to spend sometime with you, and understand your needs, and then put them into some sort of perspective for you. (at-least I attempt too)

I dont like to create apps that fail, because that is not good for biz! haha..
