Checking Stats and Revenue: how often do you?
 

How often do you check your monies from dee internets? I am finding more and more that checking is a waste of time daily. Not that there is no money coming in. :) just time better spent building. What about you?

my nifty stats are running three times a day, when i wake up, in the middle of my day, and before i go to sleep ... :2 cents: have luck with checking your stats everyone! :thumbsup

I check my stats a couple times a day.. But that's just because I'm addicted to stats and making money. Checking my stats gives me the same feeling as a good night with a lot of sex.. Hell.. I'm getting a boner right now just writing this.

around every 15 mins I think, whatever the default for SR is.

I check so often that I think its pointless to log out.... so I usually stay logged in.

Shame most stats are so boring.

Does it work with 2checkout, NanaCast, PayDotCom, WebMoney, PayPal etc?

I check three times a day: morning (for overnight traffic/sales), midday (to see how the day is going), before bedtime (see how the day went).

Rinse/repeat for years now.

Thing is tho: just because you check every day it's good to note that you must take a longer view with stats. Like a week or a month. Emotionally connecting to your stats on a daily basis is a rollercoaster ride and distorts reality.

Oh fuck yes! I used to check stats many times a day and FREAK OUT when one day was worse than another etc. I was a newb who knew jack shit about anything so I learned along the way to take a step back from stats. You really need a longer view than daily activity. I learned the hard way. LOL

Freak out is when you check your stats and you are DAMN CERTAIN the affiliate program owner is cheating your ass and the best solution would be to smuggle a taipan into the pants of the affiliate program owner.

When you're concerned that the snake ISNT venomous enough to put him out of his misery FAST ENOUGH to easy the pain of stats which are substandard!!!

When the taipan itself deserves to be DECAPITATED because the stats were so bad and he failed to do his job.

WHEN YOU YOURSELF FEEL YOU SHOULD PERISH because you were not up to the job of employing the right taipan!!!

lol its need faith and self control , i find the sales which occur at the end of period to be the best because this teach u patient .

now imagine if i made a sale on first day specially with new program ?? i would think ohh they are really generous next time if no sale i will think they are bad , 3rd they are cheatinggg , 4th i should have not sent my traffic and probably crying??... lol

True! I find if I keep busy doing what I should be doing - work - the stats take of themselves. A watched kettle does NOT boil faster. LOL
