Wordpress question
Is there any way to upload an image to be used as the "featured image" on a post but not have it actually show up in the post?
The reason why is that I'm building a video site using a magazine format as well as using a "related" plugin but the magazine preview and the plugin require an image. Cheers |
Sure. Edit the theme with a child theme and disable the displaying of the featured image.
Depending on your theme there may be an option for it. Usually you need to edit single.php or do a css edit. It depends on your theme and the version of WordPress you're using. |
cheers, you was right - there was an option in the theme all along! It was a bloody bugger finding it though!
