Addicting Info ? Indiana Pizza Shop Is First To Publicly Deny Same-Sex Service: Thanks, Religious Freedom (VIDEO)

I'm laughing at this:
“That lifestyle is something they choose. I choose to be heterosexual. They choose to be homosexual. Why should I be beat over the head to go along with something they choose?” the elder O’Conner complained.

Not one point in my life have I ever sat and pondered whether or not I should like tits or dick. Apparently this guy has. Perhaps he should just accept who he is?

j3rkules 04-01-2015 12:34 PM

Tat'a News Service. BREAKING NEWS! Indiana pizza parlor offers free toppings of hate and bigotry for their pizzas but extra cheese still cost $1.00.

Why sadly? It's their private business, shouldn't they be free do decide whom to deal with?
Forcing people to allow everyone is against various freedoms in a nutshell. And USA is notorious in taunting that word.

You can not discriminate based on gender, race, sexual orientation ... the basics.

dyna mo 04-01-2015 01:25 PM

If I was denied because I am mineistaken I would only respect their freedom to deny my business.
And why not? There would be plenty of establishments which would welcome the dollar, so those who denies would hurt their bottom line anyway.

dyna mo 04-01-2015 01:57 PM

doesn't the

What is next - THEY tell you whom you are allowed or not allowed to invite to your house? Or better said - whom you MUST allow to your house?

What he explained trumps the freedom, but that is just me. Maybe some folks like to be told who they must invite to their private properties...

Frequently those types of dress codes are intended to do exactly what you said.

But apparently, as a society, we are okay with some types of bigotry.

Not really. Unless you think that "black tie" dress code to an upscale even is also bigotry towards hipsters.

epitome 04-01-2015 03:40 PM

Their Yelp reviews are hilarious.

Also, with the father saying he chooses to be heterosexual, does that mean he's blown guys, or thinks about them when jerking off?

Also, someone put up this amazing website today:

Memories Pizza | Walkerton, IN | We cater gay weddings!

I wish they would stop discriminating against veterans that lost their legs. Why would you have shoes without legs? Totally unfair.

I can just hear him saying, "Look, I've sucked at least two dozen dicks and after serious research I have decided I'm not gay."

Right?! That was my first thought, too; ESPECIALLY a gay couple. If gay friends of mine had pizza at their reception, I'd file a complaint with the Central Scrutinizer to remove their Lavender Cards, and then call I.N.S., because it would obviously be some sham marriage to keep someone in the country.

Shoes are easy.. Health code. No one wants your stinky dirty feet sharing toe fungus with other assholes with stinky dirty feet. Shirts are also kinda a health code thing being people don't want to smell your stinky arm pits or your sweaty back touching their chairs,

yes anyone who dares to have a different opinion that you should be harried out of business... because you're so fucking open minded! :thumbsup

Grapesoda 04-01-2015 05:27 PM

but if the KKK wanted to have the wedding catered by a gay shop and were turned down????? you would agree wouldn't you? pretty sure you are a narrow minded bigot of the worst kind :2 cents:

bronco67 04-01-2015 05:29 PM

They have the right to deny service to anyone they want.

They also have the right to lose other customers because of their intolerance. So why not let the market straighten them out?

But would a gay person force someone to serve them if they didn't want to?

How do you explain the fact that many upscale restaurant won't let you in if you are wearing sneakers? Do you agree they have the right to deny you access for that reason?

Ok, I looked it up. I figured for sure it was a health code thing. However it seems No Shirt, No Shoes, No service was in fact started in the 60s as a counter to popular culture being the hippies. It was used in attempt to keep smelly hippies out of their stores..

The reason why health code is thought of as the reason, is that was in fact the myth which was used to exuse the non service to no shoes & shirts..

A lot of high end restaurants will deny access to male diners that aren't wearing a suit jacket.
