Google:All you SEO are us

They Fooled Us All: Why Google May No Longer Announce Major Algorithm Updates

His theory is AI is running the algorithm.

So, prove him wrong with test examples today.

90% of SERPs may become UX and the days of charlatan SEO may be over -- adapt or die.

Bump for some SEO big mouths to explain this away ...

ITraffic 04-07-2015 05:21 AM

It for the so called SEO experts selling their freshly re-spun 2003 strategies and newbies who buy their bullshit. Like the Google mobile traffic threat -- fuck 'em.

I had one personal domain got that email and I didn't do a damn thing -- too busy -- Goggle dropped all the mobil all 3 or 4% LMAO. My new customer conversions are up 500% this week so we will see.

So, with no more Google dances what will be the l4m3r SEO guys scream ... The truth is that their advice may no longer be reason for counterpunch ... They could go back to selling used cars :1orglaugh

why? surely you just give a great ux with plenty of good content, and sit at the top of all the serps?

you seem to have a bit of a hardon for people who focus on seo... why not let them just carry on?

I challenge the bullshit and see the possibilities of what the guy is saying in the article -- that you actually read?

What I learned about SEO in 2003 doesn't mean shit -- and I realize that. And yes, I laugh at most of the naive SEO articles and board banter I see.

Barry-xlovecam 04-07-2015 06:31 AM

Actually, I like the idea of search algorithms being changed of the fly.

Less search manipulation works to my advantage as a true content provider.

Actually, I am adding some new mobile ONLY oriented websites for my own account. I can't discuss any internal changes with regard to ACwebconnecting Holdings BV et al.

However, legacy platforms will be changing and semantic search and usability will matter -- trying to salvage the old may be a downward spiral if the product or content is unbranded -- this would include so called SEO or EMD domains -- we will see.

Google is constantly refreshing its algos without telling you already. This isn't exactly breaking news. Check out mozcast.com for a general idea of SERP volatility. You'll see spikes where serps are refreshed like weekly.

Google is sentient. Skynet....err google has become self aware!!!!!!

It's the mobile update which comes at the end of April...the source is practically every SEO site on the web along with Google even telling everyone they will be updating then.

j3rkules 04-07-2015 08:22 AM

All those updates ever did was give people more to complain about. They lost one of their best employees because of this. It drains resources.

Chrome + Google Analytics = "new algo" :winkwink:

pimpmaster9000 04-08-2015 04:31 AM

the inherent problem with ranking according to UX is that few sites offer good UX if you take in to account the # of total sites...assigning more gravity to UX in further updates is going to bring diminishing returns IMO...

The NSA of the internet gods ...
If there is a blackhat future it is in hacking Google Analytics and sending false data to Google -- the sword cuts both ways. With ipv6 this is not so farfetched ...

I am using Google DNS -- and they could extract a treasure trove of data out of that.
