Time Warner Cable Internet Congestion
 

Hey,

Have you guys noticed whom have TWC, that ping rates have went up? lots of latency issues? and speeds have been total crap lately?

I saw the comcast merger finally got nailed and its not going through so, they finally have their hands out of the TWC network so I'm hoping this will clean it up.

I have been collecting data for quite some time, I will publish my graphs here for people to see. But, I am trying to see if anyone else out there has seen this.

I am thinking its due to the pushing out the 100meg/300meg/gigbit speeds now, and things are just too congested.

Oh, I have, I also have not paid for their service for close to a year :)

Google Fiber is coming out my way they are in the building stage. but, I have no idea how long it takes to go from building to in-home use. I am stuck between TWC and ATT Uverse (which is slow as crap)

Just trying to see others whom may monitor their connections and/or see the same problems I do.

The only thing that does monitoring is my dick looking for new hot pussy.

I had speed issue before.


But after I plugged straight in the router without using WIFI I had zero issues.


I get 320 down and 32 up when Im plugged in. When I'm not plugged in I get 180-240 down and about 18 up.

Here in NYC I do notice around the times 3-6 pm the upload speed DIES. LOL Maybe it's cause the kiddies are home from school and using all their damned devices? Sucks tho, and I am on their Business Plan which costs over $200 a month!

Beat my 3g WIFI card I am working off here in the mountains.

...no other "high speed" choices up here.

Seclusion and privacy has its price.

I do think they oversell their bandwidth, and the connection does drop every once in a while.

Its a very good site to bookmark, and the map seems accurate from my experience.
