Just been out for my daily stroll along the prom, and normally whenever I see a Ferrari or a Lamborghini type car, my natural male hormones kick-in and I think.. 'Phhrawwww'...

But this on? Not really... My thoughts are more 'Mehhhh'... I wonder why?

Does this car have the same effect on you?

~Ray 05-15-2015 03:38 AM

Mediamix 05-15-2015 03:40 AM

Only cause where I live you rarely see them and the parking lot was practically empty.

Had it been in a line of cars, then not so much...

MiamiBoyz 05-15-2015 04:06 AM

Not so much. I see hotter ones everyday up and down Santa Monica Blvd.

Porn academy 05-15-2015 04:27 AM

Nope , actually scenery was more interesting then the car.

You live in avery nice place.

georgeyw 05-15-2015 04:39 AM

X_X_ROB_X_X 05-15-2015 04:39 AM

Fuck me! I knew it seemed familiar :thumbsup

Never put two and two together for the Magnum PI angle... :upsidedow

On a side note though, I did sit next to Tom Selleck at the DMV in Thousand Oaks when I lived there in 2002 :helpme

Kenny B! 05-15-2015 07:13 AM

YES! The 308 is a beautiful car, one of my favorite cars of all time is the 328 GTS which replaced the 308.

These cars have pretty much doubled in value over the last 12 months.

crockett 05-15-2015 07:17 AM

Odd how time changes taste.. Back in the day that was considered a cool car.. Now it looks like some 80's Opel or some shit..

Andreweb 05-15-2015 09:01 AM

I like olds chool italian cars :thumbsup

L-Pink 05-15-2015 09:11 AM

Originally the show wanted to use a Porsche 928 but Porsche refused to build a one-off with a larger sunroof. I always laughed when I saw Selleck driving around with his head sticking up higher than the roof line.

I love this car. The design is from the 1980s yet still holds up nicely. Still beautiful.

Mickey_ 05-15-2015 10:12 AM

My mustache is not thick nor long enough for that car to turn me on.

Exactly what I thought.

That is the car they should have used for the movie Back To The Future! lol

mavruda 05-15-2015 11:29 AM

I think that kind of cars look better from the inside, while you are on the driver's place.
It's to hear and sense the character and the soul of the machine.

SekobA 05-15-2015 01:35 PM

I prefer the new ferrari style but this one is good

It's not really the taste's that changed. It's govt. regulations that change and sometimes cause changes in cars.

For instance...I have collected old British sports cars.

They are known for being low to the ground and very, very nimble in handling.

But in 1974...cars imported into the U.S. were required by law to have a certain height at the bumpers. So that raised the cars up in the air several inches...destroying that "look" and completely ruining the handling.
They were also required to have rubber bumpers.

Now, these days car makers integrate the bumpers into the vehicle body. But back then you had all this stock of chrome bumpers for these cars. So for a few years you ended up with ugly rubber placed over the chrome bumpers and then just plain out ugly ass big black rubber bumpers. :(

It took a while for all the car manufacturers to get up to speed with all the new regs. (not even mentioning that emission control regulations destroyed the performance of those kinds of cars for a few years until technology caught up)

So yeah...there was a horrific period for cars around the late 1970's through the early 1990's where they all started to look the same and pretty much the styling sucked.

There were a few exceptions. But not many.

I prefer a pre-1974 vehicle OR a post 1996 vehicle (about the time that cars started to have some style again)

I recall the first time I saw a Countach with the federalized bumper - and thought how badly they royally fucked up the aesthetics. Ruined the whole car for me (although I'd consider lowering my standards a little and still taken one free had they offered, lol).

Great car. I love Ferrari and had the chance 2 years ago to do an owners tour at the factory in Maranello, Italy. It was an amazing experience as I had just gotten my 458 also.

For me, this year its all about cars and cigars.

That's what I used to think when I was younger...just a way to get from point A to point B. But once I owned a few great cars...I realized that was just what I kept telling myself because I couldn't afford them at the time.

Once you've owned a real performance or luxury vehicle, your opinion changes.

lukaswolf 05-25-2015 06:06 AM

Cool car. Ferrari color is red only :thumbsup
