You aren't in the WoT, and PayPal is reversible. That means even if you send first, you can still claw your dollars back after the bitcoin has been sent. If you send me dollars in the mail first, I will send you bitcoin (minus 15% processing fee) valued at the time I have verified that the cash is not counterfeit. You might also like to try #bitcoin-otc seeing as how you need it "ASAP." The users in there just might be stupid enough to give this deal a go. I got some of my first bitcoin that way back when it was trading at 60 USD per.
