 Anyone been to Madrid? Hey Has anyone been to, or live in Madrid? Ive been asked to tag a long with a friend and wondered if anyone has any suggestions of things to do? Good bars, restaurants etc? |

 Make sure to take a dictionary, we've been to 2 restaurants, but nobody could speak English.. |

 I was recently but can not remember any names. Its anyway a very good city, be only aware that gettting food that is not breakfast is nearly impossible to get before 2 pm |

 Madrid isn't really the tourist destination. Barcelona has a plenty of english spoken, more English here then paris |

 I don't remember any places in particular, but being fond of the whole tapas concept - a small plate of finger food served with each cocktail. After a few cocktails, you're sated. |

 Was there last year. Just go to upscale places to eat and drink and not only will you find great food but also english speakers. |
