Have you ever been interviewed on camera? You don't give a fuck what's going on around you. You have laser focus because you don't want to fuck up. News crews always have a mob of people wandering around to see what's going on, you block them out and focus on the interview.

You can see she is shot on the right shoulder, you don't just stand there waiting for more when you get shot in the shoulder.
