As about "environmental electromagnetic noise". That's a well-known method of making electricity from "nowhere". It is a L.E.D. flashlight that gets it's power from a std Li-Ion button cell and will last some time in intermittent use. It's not really that bright except in absolute dark.
I have examined many that others have bought when they quit working.
