WHP... You shouldn't post well kept secrets. The lack of life experience, little kids will think you are messing with their psychopathic dreams :2 cents:

Not arguing, but betting that most murders in some of those african countries are stabbings, beatings, bombs and non gun related offences.

Just saying that one graph doesn't represent the other.

Seems to say the UN department on drugs and crime or something at the bottom

Matt-ADX 10-06-2015 07:32 PM

one is Small arms survey of 2007 and other UN office of drugs and crime.

So without context nothing makes sense. Were the homicides were due to drug related activities then yeah duhhh....

Both maps seem to be unrelated

There is a real counter-terror war and there is a lot of guns. I bet every kid there has AK-47 and couple of grenades. On the other hand, the homicide rate in cities like Moscow is low and guns are forbidden here. So it's a very bad idea to fill a whole country with same colors because the situation varies a lot in different regions. The same applies to the USA which has different gun laws in almost every state :2 cents:

The gun map for Africa must be a real fake because it's the most armed territory on the planet (some countries even put AK-47 to their flags and name they kids Kalash). I'm talking about firearms and hand guns of course. Only 0-10 guns per 100 people and 0-5 homicides per 100,000 people in Somalia? For real???

P.S. What year the map above does refer to?

No sorry stupid. The map isn't "wrong" about Russia no matter which way you try to spin it. In the first place is the "Northern Caucasian" region part of Russia? YES. So how would that make the map wrong?

How are you so stupid? Get the commie plug out of the back of your brain.

You're like an ape: "Russia good" "World bad!"

Sure you know it better than I, clown. You should relocate to Somalia right now - the best place to live for imbeciles like you (the maps can't be wrong) :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

So a continent is not a territory? Wow, you are more stupid that I thought before. It's funny when a Russian have to teach the "English-speaking" idiot to learn his own language: Territory | Define Territory at Dictionary.com

Some examples of territories: a toilet, a house, a state, a country, a continent, a transcontinental area, a hemisphere of the planet etc. The US education quality amazes me more and more... :1orglaugh

Just because I actually want to help you understand I will explain:

Africa is a continent.

When describing a territory it is a land mass belonging to something. Calling Africa a territory would be like calling the earth a territory. Or the moon a territory. The context in English is not proper.

If USA per say "owned the moon" then it would be a territory of the USA. But you cannot just call every land mass a "territory".

czarina 10-07-2015 06:24 AM

Cuba is one of the countries with the lowest homicide rates in the world. How come it's yellow in that map?
On the other hand, I don't think Mexico is dark-red enough :P

Hep yourself and start reading the books. E.g.: Wild life in an African Territory;: A study made for the Game and Tsetse Control Dept. of Northern Rhodesia: F. Fraser Darling: Amazon.com: Books

Find more examples here: https://www.google.com/search?q="African+territory"

You're such a clown. Tried to nail me for using one word as a synonym for another in your own mother language and failed...

From your search:

"This is a list of sovereign states and dependent territories in Africa."

Key part "IN Africa".

Again Africa is a continent. Not a territory. But if you don't understand ok.

Anyway I won't respond anymore. I knew trying to help you would go no where. But I tried.

For real? Wasn't my post about African territory of Somalia and its coastal waters infested by armed pirates (shown in light green on both maps)? Once again: learn English. Don't be an idiot. I really believe that even a moron can learn at least one language. I believe in your success :thumbsup

No, you said this:
"The gun map for Africa must be a real fake because it's the most armed territory on the planet (some countries even put AK-47 to their flags and name they kids Kalash)."

You were talking about Africa as a whole. Even discussing the different countries flags. Again Africa is not an "armed territory". Because Africa is a continent. Not a territory.

I gave it 1 more try.

No it's not. "Territory" is a synonym to "terrain/sea/air area" and can be less or more than a county or a continent. E.g. a state is a territory (e.g. Arunachal Pradesh), a country is a territory (e.g. Somalia) and a whole continent + its coastal waters is a territory too (e.g. Africa or Eurasia). E.g.: European Migration Control in the African Territory, During the 1890s, disputes over African territory became increasingly frequent and bitter; nevertheless, all were eventually resolved by bilateral agreements.

j3rkules 10-07-2015 07:59 AM

Source of the picture or did not happen.

You can't count lawless countries in a constant state of unrest, war and civil war in with the rest of the civilized world.

Your first example is discussing an entire quote of coast/water inside the territory of North Africa and not as the African continent:
"European Migration Control on African Territory, by Pablo Ceriani Cernadas,
analyses the inhuman immigration control policies adopted by European governments
and EU organizations on the coast and in the waters of North African countries."

Your second example discusses land inside of Africa. Thus it is African territory. Africa as a whole is a continent. Individual plots could be discussed as territory.

You can use it in the context of: "The lion roams inside the African plains where it's territory stretches from the national park...."

Africa is a continent. Not a territory.

I'm getting tired of you. The one can not be that stupid IMHO. When I say Australian continent, I mean the land. When I say Australian territory, I mean their continent plus the whole area including coastal waters and airspace which does belong to Australia. It can be some small part of that or everything together. Educate yourself already.

You're getting tired of facts? Sounds Russian. Africa is a continent not a territory. You're Russian i know it's impossible to admit you're wrong but you are.

Australia is also a country and a continent so you can duscuss its land as a part of its territory. You cannot do the same for Africa. Countries from other continents can own land inside Africa.

Why are you even talking about Australia now? You dont know the difference between Australia and Africa?

Again Africa is a continent. Not a territory.
