Is Obama after another Nobel Peace Prize for "for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples" by sabre-rattling again?

Sure but you have to put things in perspective. China on the whole is not a warring nation whereas the US has only been at peace for 21 years in total since it came to be.

since the US was born in a warzone, that isn't very surprising.. also some of the examples there are a little disingenuous

in comparison, using the logic of that list, china has been at war since the 1927 all the way up to 1979, give or take a few years

considering rebellions are still happening, one might ask if china has ever been at peace.

The Chinese attacked and sunk a Vietnamese fishing boat 2 weeks ago that was in international waters near those islands that they have filled/built -- let's see them fire on a US Navy ship and see what happens ...

I cannot believe the USA is sticking up for the Vietnamese, history considered -- one thing is constant in life -- change, I guess ...

<yawn>

Weak and even if it were the case which it is not, that is not the perception the vast majority who clearly see the US as the biggest threat to world peace:

US is the greatest threat to world peace: poll | New York Post

Worth noting that most of GFY also agree:

https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-pr...to+world+peace

As you can see in the above link: 60% of GFY voted for the US as the biggest threat to world peace. Zero voted for China. In fact half of Americans see their own government as a threat:

Half in U.S. Continue to Say Gov't Is an Immediate Threat

Has Richard been officially owned yet? Or should I continue.....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sino-S...conflict_(1929)

The Sino-Soviet conflict of 1929 (1929年 中東路事件) was a minor armed conflict between the Soviet Union and Chinese warlord Zhang Xueliang of the Republic of China over the Manchurian Chinese Eastern Railway.

When the Chinese seized the Manchurian Chinese Eastern Railway in 1929, swift Soviet military intervention quickly put an end to the crisis and forced the Chinese to accept restoration of joint Soviet-Chinese administration of the railway.
