I don't know, but I'm going to do my best to find out, as I've just started with the LiveJasmin affiliate programme.

I think it's safe to say -- not like the old days.

The affiliates that have signed up with my program are doing very well. So yes, I know that affiliates can make money. :)

Seriously though, it may take some time to get your money machine rolling but once it does, it pays off well. But dont stop there, things can change over night. Money here is not for the lazy.

I've been getting my feet wet again and it's been frustrating. When being an affiliate wasn't worth it to me anymore I was still making about $1000 a day (2008'ish) - I miss the heyday 2001-2008 $2.5-5k a day.

If you aren't making money then what the fuck are you even doing here? You are just wasting time. If you spend half the time you do on your websites as you guys do GFY then you might actually be able to answer your own question.

And yes, there is money to be made as an affiliate in 2015 but it doesn't fall off of trees. You have to work for that shit.

I busted my balls back then. In that sense, nothing has changed. I've ran through a couple things...

CrakRevue - still testing, seems ok
CJ = total waste
Clickbank - couple sales, not worth time
Amazon - messing with now
Brandedoffer (CPA) - nothing, but haven't sent much traffic
Stememate - decent if marketed properly

I really have no interest in pre-recorded for...that is selling fire in hell.

Majority of my income is client consulting...i have 2 lawyers, 1 finance and 1 plastic surgeon, I get move ripoff reports here and there (but I hate the work) - I know full well they could bounce and I'd be back at zero, so I'm trying to diversify

Just work on marketing and you'll be fine, just throwing up some websites with a couple scripts and that's it doesn't really work anymore these days, though..

I was making $4k - $5k a month off of blogs alone. These days.... $300 - $400 a month.

However, honestly I do not spend much time working on my blogs. I did this morning, just updated The Titty Ranch | Women With Huge Beautiful Breasts!.

As long my stats and affiliate income keeps growing, I'm not complaining. :thumbsup

there is easier and better money to be made elsewhere. it seems like a waste of time to try and be an affiliate these days. adult in general sucks.

You just have to attend a major conference to have that question answered for you. The business is still alive and kicking. There are a lot of new players, tons of EU companies are exploding and making nice products, you just have to change your ways of promoting them.

Everyday there is success stories posted on the private forums of wannabe affiliates who started with nothing and have gone on to doing $X,XXX a day profit as a 1 or 2 man shop. There has never been more traffic so easily available than there is today, with the right mix of technology and product, you can make money.

I know a dozen or so affiliates making 100k+ a month (profit) A few much more. There are obviously a lot more than that (plus TONS making a decent living but not at that level) thats just the ones I know / work with etc who's revenue I can confirm.

More money is being made now than ever before. Just in different ways, by a smaller number of people. In 97-2003 I knew a bunch of people making really good money with little effort (most were lucky, a few were smart and good at what they did) Times have changed and the the game has thinned out and left the best marketeers still around and doing well. I think a lot of the ones who saw their $$ dry up and just can't believe anyone is making money anymore are part of that group who were more luck than skill. The days of just being able to copy what you saw someone else do and being able to make that work are, for the most part, gone. There is a shit ton of $$$ being made by affiliates , but definitely LESS affiliates out there.

i'm sure there are but if i was an affiliate making that much i wouldn't stick to promoting someone elses program making them rich, i'd make my own program. how many years did it take these people to get the level of making 100k a month? perhaps im cynical but judging from sites out there these days you either have to deceive people, install things on their computer, do mailing etc to make that kind of money.

Jay, remember how many dozens of programs you had to login into to check stats on jays-xxx-links. And what a pain it must have been to stay on top receiving payouts. Much easier to test on an affiliate network first and when something works then see if it's worth going direct.

I agree that it's good to build your own product but sometimes it's just easier to promote others people's stuff. It's not like anyone can just build an AdultFriendFinder or successfull BangBro's overnight and be guaranteed its converts / earns just as well.

So if you're doing $100K month as an affiliate you're going to have to take a huge hit while you tweak your own product to profitability (if u ever do. the product could flop). Some people say fuck that I'll just keep sending as an affiliate. Less headache.
