There is zero eye contact on a NY subway. You can look at your phone or stare into space. Given that choice, phones win. Most of them likely assumed one of the asshats who sells batteries or the random breakdancing troupes that beg for money put the ads up, and that they would be removed later in the evening by MTA workers.

If it can't be detonated, zero fucks are given to anything on a NY subway...

I was on a packed subway car two days ago. Every seat taken. EVERY single person sitting down was staring at their phones. Playing games? Texting? Whatever, it was truly disturbing.

I am hoping for a cell phone backlash sometime in my lifetime. LOL

The first episode was pretty good

it's an amalgamated symbol. it's a combo of the USA red white and blue with the nazi riechstlag or wtfever it's called, the other one is the jap rising sun mixed the same way.

Yeah, you're going to piss off a handful of folks, but the broad reach is well worth any possible damages. If I had a product no one heard of, and someone told me I could make $100M but I'd have to piss off some people with thin skin and the JDL, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I never heard of the show, but after seeing the news reports, checked it out on Amazon Prime. And it's a pretty interesting show. Great concept, Germany and Japan win WWII by dropping a H-Bomb on Washington D.C., and there's an American resistance army. I'm one viewer they gained by this publicity stunt. Bully to them. :thumbsup

funny. i have ideas like this. its so easy to offend people now, you all gotta do is drop a few bad words & make press. just walk to a local college, hold up a giant sign saying "i have the right to offend (insert bad word)" & you can get instant fame. might also get shot. so i decided to not go down this road. Not sure how hollywood gets away with it. Maybe i should get a liberal membership card.
