I would not mix Syria with Ukraine. Let Putin or Russia do bad things often, ok, but even if they tried to be so bad, some times it could happen, even just one time, that they are right and the bad guys are the other ones.

In my opinion, which is not so informed (but I don't watch TV, so I am not misinformed), Turkey planned to shoot this jet, to give the message to Putin that he should not bomb neighbour Syria. Turkey got millions of refugees there it costs billion dollars and EU union just decided to give $3 billion to Turkey just to help them NOT to emigrate in Germany and Sweden. Easy clues: 1) Turkey shoot a russian drone months ago; 2) Russia bombs more rather than less; 3) Turkey shoot a jet with an excuse; 4) Russia bans turkish imports with an excuse.

I been in Instanbul this year - I would prefer to live under Putin govt than under the Turkish guy govt, if you ask me.

Living in Istanbul or Russian city has nothing much to do with Putn or Turkey governments though. The biggest difference is that Istanbul is muslim city.

Tons of info,opinions and simple logic says that it was ambush. Turkish planes were flying there for a while, they knew where Russians will go since Russians gave that data to NATO to precisely avoid this kind of shit.

Only if you go full retard you can think that one airplane is a threat to Turkey. He was flying alone, obviously without any protection of fighters because they had a deal with NATO.

Interesting how RT (Russia Today) is saying Turkey is the bad guy and Russia is the victim. I would normally be skeptical however since it's being reported through a politically neutral news source I choose to believe that the report represent the truth.

Understand that they did start communication way before the plane entered Turkey's airspace. They do not wait till plane enters the country to start communication.

I agree Turkey is more Muslim than Russia... they don't care much in Instanbul, they care more to the money than to the mosques, perhaps they care on countryside... also being muslim could mean be a nicer guy than atheists, depends by the branch of islam they follow.

But, I was referring to the fact that when it comes to trusting what anyone said, from the top level politician to the taxi driver, I did noticed more lies (or, scams) on Turkey than in Russia, also I found the number of Turkish mega flags placed everywhere quite more nationalistic than you can see around Russia. In Turkey they arrested journalists and killed lawyers and activists in recent months, no need to go dig events of long time ago.
Now if I have to believe what Turkish authorities said, I have quite a big problem.
