How do these pop-ups work?
I notice on this site.
http://www.fooktube.com/ Every other click creates a pop-up on the site and doesn't allow you to click on what you want. I notice when I right click on the screen when this happens, I am given an adobe flash menu instead of the usual page info. Is there a flash overlay or something on every other click? Is this what they mean when I hear about skimmed traffic? |
Hi deonbell,
When I click in the site you mentioned a pop under is showed to me. But the experienced you told is exactly what you said, that is skimmed traffic, which is basically this: Skimmed traffic is blind clicked traffic sourced (mostly) from TGPs and MGPs. This is traffic that has clicked on a thumbnail or a gallery description. Instead of being sent to the expected gallery, the surfer is sent (or redirected) elsewhere. I've copied the info from the site massivetraffichits Hope this helps to you! Thanks, Lourdes |
