Anyone have some suggestions for the top designers here on GFY?

Need something a little custom, not a simple free wordpress template that I could probably do myself.

If you are a designer and email me, send a link to your portfolio, I need to see at least 10 sites that you have already done, if you cannot supply this then please don't message me.

I need quality, not some hack job.

I can't do any design work at this time because I have a bone in my arm. I would probably just refer them to Zuzana so they might as well go there first.

Paying for quality isn't an issue. Overpaying, is.

I've been trying Bootstrap snippets lately. Very fun to stack a responsive site together with Bootstrap elements, for more informative types of content.

zuzanna graphics/design are bad. she dont know how to code or css

all her portfolio on her site are work of underpay indians and flips

That depends if the designer is completing a project in a certain manner that will save you time, money and give you the best possible chances of converting with your website a slight overpay is worth it to keep these types around.

More goes into the design today then just designing. If the designer is one dimensional in abilities and doesn't understand traffic then yes it's an issue in overpaying.

We do design work as well now, hired an in-house designer about a year ago.

I'm a graphic design / frontend design instructor on the side, so staying current with the latest technology is a must. Which is a big plus as frontend development is starting to get more and more advanced.

Long are the days gone when you used Adobe Fireworks to slice web designs. ;)

We do use zuzana ocaasionally but as said she is expensive, quality is indeed with Zuzana but there are guys around with similar quality... And Experience

Zuzana is good and always gets the job done. THese days that's a very strong recommendation. S20 does a great job as well. Back in the day we used to have so many designers around there was a glut on the market and they couldn't make any decent money, same with programmers, although programmers could always get paid pretty well. Times have changed.
