Ever appeared on a tv gameshow ??

I might be on "The Chase" UK in the near future.

Waiting on final word back from them that I got to the final part of the application process. Here's hoping I don't end up tripping balls on national tv... :1orglaugh:helpme

good luck! and nope but my daughter was on a tv show called Happy's place .. I still have the vhs recording of it when she was like 4.

Quote:

Happy's Place was an afternoon children's television program that aired on WFFT-TV Super 55 Fox in Fort Wayne, Indiana in the 1980s and 1990s.

The program was known for its two-hour block of children's programming (in later supplied by the Fox Network) that initially aired from 3 to 5 in the afternoon. In the mid to late 1980s, programming included DuckTales, Inspector Gadget, The Smurfs, He-Man, Saber Rider and G.I. Joe. The original program was called Happy's Hour which began broadcasting in 1976 on WTVQ, Channel 62 in Lexington, KY, with Tim Eppenstein playing the character of Happy and Mike McMellon providing the voice of Froggie.

During programming breaks, Happy, who was a clown dressed as a hobo, would do children's activities from the WFFT studios. In the show, he had a sidekick named Froggie, a frog puppet (voiced by Craig Beaverson). Froggie had his own morning program on WFFT Super 55 Fox, entitled Froggie's Pad. Froggie's Pad featured children's cartoons such as ThunderCats and SilverHawks. Later on, Chester T. Fox (Paul Moring) and Lawn Boy (Rick Miller) were added.

I know right! I was thinking it was a clown but it was actually a hobo.. haha they would never let a hobo have a tv show in todays era.. It was like 95 or 96 when she was on it.

I got tickets for that once as a kid, I was desperate to go, my dad talked me out of it, said that the reality of the show was not like what we see on the TV, now I'll never know

Off the top of my head, I did the 'Trisha Show' back in the late 90s twice (but only one 'story' was broadcast) Loads of stuff for Television X satellite channel (Not performing, but just extra / background stuff) such as the Ben Dover New Years Show in 99 and I was going to be on Jerry Springer when he came to the UK but they cancelled us last minute cause I found out about the stitch up they had planned for me.

I did 'Hardcore - Felicitys Journey' for Channel 4 and loads of stuff on Bravo that I cant even remember the names of... Sex 3000 was one though which was filmed at my house.

In the US I have been in about 3 episodes of Cat House from Dennis Hofs Bunny Ranch (I actually posted from the ranch to GFY at the time, but as the search isnt working, I cant show the link to it) and multiple extra work for Fox shows that were shot at the studios I managed. I appear in an E! Wild On show about the Hot D'jor awards in Cannes that ran concurrently with the cannes film festival and multiple stuff that was shot at the AVN awards in Vegas and used in different reports and documentaries in 99, 2000, 01 and 03 and also a documentary about 'The Tampa Show' which is a porn show that took place in Tampa - Mike South might know the nane of the Doc...

Thats all I can remember off the top of my head, but its weird to turn on the TV late at night and see myself on it! Admittedly, since HD, it a lot of the stuff I'm in isn't shown anymore as its SD, but no biggy... Its like all 15 years ago to me now :)

georgeyw 03-07-2016 11:44 AM

Was on "the early bird show" when I was 12 or 13.

You met the man, the king of love himself, Chuck Woolery? I'm so jealous!

All I did was a TV commercial, back in the late 80's, for Big Brothers of Canada. Was a pretty cool one though, had former Winnipeg Jet Dave Ellett in it as well.

Mine was nothing exciting, the radio show was just an interview for BBC radio but it was in Amsterdam so the details are rather hazy but i do remember bitterly complaining about the head on their beers.

I was in a Levellers video, only a quick flashes of me in the crowd although i was reasonably promonent as i was on someones shoulders.
I was also in a Curiosity Killed The Cat video - I was at the back of the (posh) club when they filmed it, again i was drunk, never seen it myself and i don't have a clue what the song was but people have told me they've seen me in the video.

Basically they wanted to say my Son was being badly effected by my career choice. He wasn't. I refused. They cancelled.

I have started doing the Jeopardy online quizzes in hopes that I will one day make it on the show, after my appearance I will reveal that I run porn sites.

Mr Pheer 03-08-2016 12:42 AM

I was invited by a producer of the Montel Williams show to appear in late 2000, because an ex-girlfriend called them and mentioned me being in the adult business and how I manipulated search engines and spammed the shit out of news groups and chat rooms.

It was all lies of course... I told them I'm actually a fine church-going young man and they werent interested in that.

mce 03-08-2016 12:44 AM

I was a contestant on a short-lived gameshow on USA Network in the early 90s.

Cheap ass show. My team won and all I won a silver tea set.

Gave it to my mom.

porndumpme 03-08-2016 12:46 AM

I appeared in a short new clips about a bomb threat, does that count :)
