WP text replacer?

Does anyone know of a good automatic wordpress text replacer?

So basically you set a list of words that you do not want on your site and the plugin automatically searches for these and then replaces the word with an alternative word that you have set?

Thanks

I don't think it supports custom replacement tables. E.g. if you want to replace 1000 different words/sentences in the existing posts, you will spend a week to do something like that with search-and-replace, while my plugin allows to do it in one single click. It allows to replace words/sentences using replacement tables of unlimited size. It can spin/synonymize WP posts and/or translate them to other languages using Google Translate, Yandex Translate and other free & commercial 3rd-party services. All those functions can be applied on the importing posts on the fly or to all existing posts (doesn't matter if they were imported from some other sources or they were written manually).

:pimp

Is there anything your plugin doesn't do?

The current version can not import JSON feeds and CSV dumps, but the next one, I'm currently working at, is be able to syndicate them w/o any problem.

Is your functionality automated or do I have to manually do the search and replace?

Automated. You have to make a replacement table like this:

>word to replace #1|replacement 1
>word to replace #2|replacement 2
>word to replace #3|replacement 3

...

The only thing you have to do after that is to click one single button. The plugin will go through all existing posts and replace all words/sentences from your table. It will also take care of symbol case. E.g. if your table has the following line:

>car|chopper

and the there is the following sentence in some post:

My Black Car. A car. A SUPER CAR.

It will be replaced changed this:

My Black Chopper. A chopper. A SUPER CHOPPER.

I don't think that plugins like search-and-replace can do something similar :pimp

So can you clear up one point, after I click the button the plugin will go through existing posts and do the search and replace. After this point will the plugin work automatically for future posts, meaning I do not have to touch the plugin again?

Can it work on custom posts?

What is the name of the plugin?

Does it work on titles as well as the content and experts + tags?

Thanks

Depends on how those new posts will be added. If they will be syndicated from some RSS/Atom/XML feed by the CyberSEO plugin, they will be processed automatically (the words will be replaces/synonymizer/translated according to your settings). If you are planning to add new posts manually or by means of other plugin, they won't be processed by CyberSEO.

Hi - my site is Pot Commerce Is Your Marketplace For Legal Medical Marijuana Classifieds - it is based on WP, so when people add new adverts will your plugin automatically pick up the words I need replaced?

Thanks
