A Manhattan judge on Tuesday lashed into a Harlem man convicted of attempted murder ? telling him that ?black lives don?t matter to black people with guns? before tossing him in prison for 24 to 26 years.

Yea, challenging what a Judge says and forget about the gun he emptied into another human. Attitudes like yours are part of the problem.

He just tried to murder another human and all you can think of is what a Judge states (and he's not wrong) during sentencing.

why bring politics and race into something as horrific as attempted murder? i am very concerned that this sort of.. political grandstanding could put this conviction in jeopardy, and this man back on the streets.

Seen from the judge's perspective, having watched untold amounts of black-on-black violent crime and murders come through his court, I can completely understand why he's using the phrasing he's using.
