Many of you could be making extreme money on youtube

All you need is bitches saying words or running around or bouncing or talking or fighting or answering weird questions or anything
I see all of the time films about all KINDS of shit and they get millions of views for nothing
You could be killing with the adsense revenue alone not to mention the other possibilities

You're welcome

LetterTwenty7 05-04-2016 02:40 AM

What's your channel link?

CurrentlySober 05-04-2016 02:43 AM

My channel has nothing that doesn't suck, thus far

DVTimes 05-04-2016 04:05 AM

The problem today is getting views.

If your new its a slow process to build up a fan base.

I did notice that the videos with the healthiest view counts are generally on channels with a decent subscriber base

It is as it's always been. Down to the content.

Which means it also needs talent.

I'll tell you how to make money on youtube, just make videos of yourself opening sweets or toys. those videos have mega hits. my daughter would watch them for hours if I let her.

AllAboutCams 05-04-2016 08:42 AM

Ive tried and can not seem to get anything to work on youtube

My brother makes a few grand a month just talking about collectibles, though it did take him a few years to build up the following he has now.

CaptainHowdy 05-04-2016 08:49 AM

Don't think so ...

DBS.US 05-04-2016 09:22 AM

Get a cool Youtube channel name, get the domain, watermark all videos, keep all your videos backed up, if you get banned for some BS. get a new email, start a new channel with the same name, use old domain, repost all your videos.

celandina 05-04-2016 09:53 AM

I have said that elsewhere. Some rip off artists uploaded to Youtube about 5 of my clips... About 1,200,000 views in total. What did I loose in the manner of $$$$?:2 cents:

MaDalton 05-04-2016 10:04 AM

I tried to monetize on YT directly - the approval process now takes since September 2015 - they neither approve or disapprove - if they reply they reply only with canned responses. I have no doubt they are trying to drag it out until i give up.

Probably a minimum of $2000.

I suspect you have to be under 18 to be in such vids.

Many such vids seem to be made by the young.

I am not sure someone over 30 would get the same interest.

Wow
32M views on a dog video

Well into the tens of thousands of dollars on a single dog video?!

Of course I know it's not the STANDARD for just any video
But wow

Shit like that is unreal
And the destroying telephones
And the shooting things
And the melting aluminum

Hell one guy got 72M views melting aluminum into ant hills
Then he sells the cast for $700
He's in cocoa
I love cocoa

Could you license content with kids doing reviews and unboxing games and bullshit like that if you had their parent/guardian sign off on it?
I would think so, right, how else would they have child actors

I think there might be alternative by uploading to channels of established YT publishers, it is probably less money but at least you get money.

The kids would do it themselves.

Many of these kids have more idea about what they are doing than most (if not all) the webmasters on this forum.

rayadp05 05-04-2016 04:40 PM

Would be nice if they had an adult section on YouTube (18+ login, porn allowed) ....and webmasters had the option of uploading their banner to be featured directly underneath their submitted video.

Standard is the word that makes the difference.

Justin Bieber is the best example of making money on YT.

Here are a few things a person. A unique personality and different product, ability to capture it on film, churn out different scripts, and keep it up.

You can get a person to the water but you can't make him drink. To sell bottled water, you have to get that person to recommend it to his friends. If you get what I mean.

DVTimes 05-05-2016 03:48 AM

The first thing is to realise that your not young.

I say this as the ones who are making it big on youtube are young and are doing it to people there own age.

These children know what they are doing.

Trying to compete with them is no point.

You also have the 18 year old girls who do 'sxy' clothed vids. This may be just chatting about things.

BUT........

And I have talked about this many years ago, there is a huge gap in the market that those who make porn could be filing.

'rayadp05' stated he wished they had an 18 zone on youtube. But this is the bit most of you are not grasping, you see shooting content having to be nude or porn. What you need to think about is doing sexy clothed shoots. Not as an upsell to your porn site but as real content to get hits on you tube.

The main problem you will find is, its going to take you months to build up viewers. It means shooting for months at a loss.

You need to do things that the ones on youtube cannot do.

An example, most on youtube are solo with a camera on a stand just talking to the camera. Often though to be fair they do edit well the footage. In fact I have seen content on youtube shot and edited by some 9 year old girl often far better than the so called pros from porn sites with there high end cameras and editing gear.

The advantage that those who shoot have should be they can shoot films. When I say films I mean not just stick a camera on a stand but to shoot somthing close to TV or Film quality.

But now is the hard part.....

The thing is you need to think what your going to shoot, then stick with it.

For instance one example could be a silly prank show. But have sexy babes doing the pranks.

Or a product show, where sexy babes talk about products.

Or even just have sexy babes playing computer games.

These are just a few quick thoughts.

But have a target market when you do these.

In truth the under 18's have a ton of youtubers targeting them, so I would sugest 18 to 30 range. Once you go over the 40 year old range one suspects that those over 40 may not use youtube as much as 18 to 30 range.

Its also worth thinking about speech. If you can shoot with no speaking, then it opens up your vids to more countries.

Try to do somthing others are not.

Think long term. In truth your probably not going to be popular for ages, and that can be a big kick in the ass, as you will get few views for a lot of work. And often many will quit.

I would expect many who start on youtube very soon give up, as they expected riches from day one.

DVTimes 05-05-2016 03:55 AM

A few examples of sexy vids you can shoot:

MrMaxwell 05-05-2016 06:28 AM

See, that is exactly what I keep thinking, if these porn whores will do what they will for the money they get for it, there's no way I could not make all kinds of youtube content. Some may say, well, whores aren't always talented, but they're not all morons either. .

Look at that woman you posted - I'm pretty sure that she is the one who posted a video debating whether or not dogs have a brain in their head. All she posts is mindless inflammatory idiocy. But then, breasts and femaleness + howard stern effect ... hahaha

Like you say though it's not an overnight WOW THERE YOU ARE type of thing in most cases. Meanwhile, I can't imagine putting months/years of serious effort into a platform known for just discarding it all.. .
It reminds me of Ebay / Amazon where you can be doing millions in sales and they don't give a FUCK, people get ended for stupid little reasons. Seems to be the same thing with youtube.

What I need to wrap my mind around is creating content I could monetize in several ways. I think a website is extremely important, one for each channel. Social media seems pretty important.

If you're going to put THAT much work into creating content I can't imagine being dependent on one unpredictable platform with grey areas all over the place. Some channels are okay posting risque content for years. Others disappear. The bot decided, or some kid in his basement went on a flagging campaign, etc etc

I guess the reason they are so arbitrary about it is because they have trillions of petabytes of magnetism uploaded secondly and enough video urls to last for centuries. That said, I think that a lot more idiots would be more willing to put up more work and quality shit if it wasn't so sketchy with them

The only thing you wrote that I don't necessarily agree with is targeting the same idiots/demo everyone else is targeting. Not sure about that one if everyone is targeting those mindless buffoons.

Hahah

I suspect that people will be put off from the fact that to make money is long term.

I do not think many would make even a $1 in the first 6 months if not year.

But if you can post content each week, and happy to do it for two years, then with luck you will be making a profit.

No, not true, many of the videos are shot POV, you only see the hands. kids don't care about that, they just want to see the goodies.

You don't even need to talk - jolly music and a few silly sound effects is all you need.

Nicky 05-05-2016 02:30 PM

I'm gonna start a youtube channel where I burn/destroy the money I make from the video/channel in creative ways

Which is the same for any business, so why should YT videos be different?

If I were younger I would be doing educational videos on how to shoot models and people. Using real models. Even shooting family members needs some skill to get those great shots. The biggest hurdle would be my comedic style in presenting the show.

At the wedding, we attended last weekend the professional photographer commented on I knew what I was doing.

johnnyloadproductions 05-05-2016 03:07 PM

Here's some youtube stats. Fuckin' ballin', you guys be jelly. errhhh lol :helpme

Anyway, youtube is an excellent platform for certain things. In particular this channel was to promote my tutoring services.

This channel has close to 1000 videos. I make videos and batch export them. I then put annotations and now cards (for mobile devices) on each video directing to a page with my services. The more views I get the more I can charge for my services as more likely they'll say yes to a higher price. Parents want the best for their students and I am. lol

I added ads on a whim, glad I did, just a little extra money to go by.

It's just a focus thing of doing it.

I've already made some but I'll software tutorials. I'll branch these out and make my own udemy courses and ultimately my own platform that has a name almost identical to github, just change the first 3 letters (:
All with an emphasis on mobile as that's everything over the next decade.

There's lots of money in flexible education, and zero shame in admitting what you do when people ask.

It was nice to know I still had some left.

Content is King on YT and sorting that out first is essential.

DVT with his weird videos.
Damian with his magic.
Me with photography
JLP with hit education videos.
Etc.

All ways of making money. Identify what you can do, what people want to view, then how to make the content appealing enough to entertain or educate.

Then worry about traffic.

Now that is true. If I ever try to fix something around the house or reset those fucking warnings on my car I always go to youtube. There would be videos for people like me who don't know how reset brake fluid check indicator on BMW or how to spin sink disposer when it gets stuck. Those videos would have 200K views. Holly shit.
Or how to turn off spell checker on Samsung Galaxy 3. I was youtubing that today.

since the 1st of January the average dropped instantly to $0.25 for 1000 views.
While my subscribers grew and my views get higher and higher.

End of last year i had 10k views daily which made me $10 daily.
Now I have 40k views daily which makes me... $10 daily.

Where do you see that? I had my account monetized a while back and one of my clips made into news. station asked me for permissions to show it on their website. I have 550K views as of right now. I thought it was going in to ads account.
