William ?Wobbles? Soler, a 500-pound accused gunrunner, was back jostling the scales of justice Friday ? failing to fit into courthouse elevators and even briefly shutting down a courtroom, all because of his massive girth.

Wobbles and his extra-wide wheelchair don?t fit inside the inmate-transport elevators, so he had to be hoisted via freight elevator to his 15th scheduled Bronx Supreme Court appearance for allegedly leading a crew that sold 93 guns to undercover officers.

He then had to remain on the audience side of the courtroom, since his chair was too wide to reach the defense table.

And when it was time for him to confer with his lawyer about a possible plea deal, the courtroom had to be emptied so they could have some privacy.

?He can?t fit into any of the [attorney-client] booths,? explained one court officer. ?There is no facility that fits him.?

Wobbles is due back in court next Friday.
