How in the PHUCK is this possible???
I was surfing Richards-realm.com today-clicked on a link to a TGP gallery only to get a page with no thumbs, full of ads, and on top of that the page had an exit pop-up. When I revisited the same link, a normal TGP gallery with thumbs was there. Took a look at the source code no java whatsoever. How is this possible? Is there a script that this guy is using?

I could think of a few ways... If he's running a script, it could randomly add a different page, or if he's got low level access to the server, he could build an apache module or IIS module to bounce people randomly. It's a dirty trick, but i've seen people do it before.

There are a number of technologies that can do this.
asp, jsp, php - take your pick of server-side script that return html. Also servlets - java programs that execute on server and return pure html. :2 cents: |
The scripts that return html are supposed to return a different html for links to different pages.
I think the webmaster knows magic! |
