Two year old boy snatched by alligator at Disney
 

CNN just had on a press conference where police spoke about a two year old being snatched up by a alligator.... The father followed the alligator into the water and attacked it.

The child is still missing.

Imagine going to vacation to Disney in Florida and having your freaking two year old kid snatched by an alligator.

Bullshit. Give it few days. No way in hell. There aren't any gators big enough to drag human in resorts. We stayed at Swan during spring break. There are electric fences where bay area comes in.

A 5' or 6' gator can easily chomp on the leg of a 2 year old child and drag him under. Do you know how big a 2 year old is? The perfect size of a good meal for a gator.

They get nuisance gators all the time in the waters around the Disneyworld resorts. There are clear signs that say to not go into the water. Kid was wading in the water at 9pm at night. I have no idea why his parents would let a 2 year old in the water in the dark.

The family was visiting "the gator capital of the world " from Nebraska with signs viewable from all vantage points that say "don't swim in the water" and gator signs everywhere. When you're a tourist you're hyper sensitive to that stuff.

I've been to Florida a few times and don't take my dogs for fear of gators getting them, and sure as hell wouldn't let a kid near the water. Gators travel across land and just because there is no gator in it one day doesn't mean there isn't one in there now

As someone with a 2 year old daughter, the thought of watching this happen is a feeling I couldn't describe.

Not only does Florida have a gator problem, but they've found multiple Nile crocodiles recently and they suspect there are more. No way in hell I'm going to the everglades now.
