I am big on anti double standards, but this one could not be solved, gays are not identifyable as women.

Straight females are allowed in men's changing rooms, so seems like it's only straight men who are being held back from entering women's changing rooms

Men are allowed in women's locker rooms. In both cases the teams tend to give the players a few minutes to get in, shower, and get dressed or at least in a robe or something before any reporters are allowed in. Other sports leagues, like the NHL, let reporters in right away so the players are still in uniform during the interviews.

In most cases if a player is naked when a reporter enters the locker room to interview them it is their own fault (or they just don't care).
