How much you pay for your internet monthly ? With Contract or no contract ?
We're Moving in a new home earlier 2017, and my contract with Shaw cable is expired.
I realise i was paying 70$/ month only for my internet connection, far from the 20$ packages the last time i remember. :1orglaugh . Now they sending me an offer to sign before 2017, 79.90/ month 2 yrs terms to avoid snowballs in the rates in 2017. 150 Mbs download speed and 15 mpbs upload. Would be nice to compare specially with the USA and Europe :) Thanks |

At home I pay $150 and get 300 Mbps, landline, Time Warner hotspots, and digital cable.
At the office I pay $300 and get roughly 500 Mbps and Time Warner hotspots. |

$45/month for 100/100 (that's CDN dollars so about USD$33).
I can get 1000/1000 for $100/month from the same provider, but wifi maxes out at 53Mbps so why bother... |

My internet is free. It's part of our HOA. I pay $118 a month for HOA, which includes a pool. In fact, two pools, a hot tub, and a small gym. They are also expanding the HOA in the next few months, and it will be the largest HOA complex in the state including a huge gym, indoor basketball court (YES!), three pools, and a - wait for it - lazy river.
I haven't paid for Internet since 2006 or so, and i have no idea what people pay. |

10Euros/month

80 bucks canadian after taxes for 100 down 10 up unlimited usage. rogers..

Selling data services is 80% selling air.
A registry is a license to sell air too :winkwink: This is why service prices are all over the place. The only real cost is in infrastructure. The latest development is using wireless repeaters, attached to the tops of utility poles, to deliver 1Gbs - 10Gps service to areas without buried fiber last mile cables. |

Here in Maine its so fucking rural its like a third world country. In fact most 3rd world countries i have visited have better service than i can get. Thats the price i pay for living in a remote area i guess.
Verizon charge me $90 a month with a cap of 20 gigs bandwidth. Dowload and upload speeds are shitty but the only alternative in my location is Hughes Net which is far slower and with many more restrictions than Verizon. I have tried to get Time Warner to supply me with internet as they have installations less than 1/2 a mile away. The fuckers want $40,000. just to run a cable to my street. Sucks for me:small-smi |

Speeds around here are way too lame for my needs so I'm combining two connections from different ISP's with a load balancer. I pay roughly $70 for each and each gives in theory 20/2 speeds.
One also bundles TV channels and VoD that I hardly use. |
